No, this isn’t more blowback on Jeffrey Epstein, although that’s part of it. The quarrel in this country is not partisan. It’s not the right vs. the left. It’s Americans trying to hang onto America and not see it turn into an autocracy, and it’s also a lot of MAGAs who voted for one thing and got another. And man, are they getting peeved. Look for this to be the norm and not the exception. Fox News interviewed a Trump-loving comedian, Andrew Schulz, and the guy blew up with his displeasure over Trump.
“Everything he campaigned on, I believe he wanted to do, and now he’s doing the exact opposite thing of every single f—ing thing,” Schulz said Thursday.
Schulz specifically called out Trump over increasing the national debt, funding foreign wars and the recent announcement that there was no Jeffrey Epstein “client list.”
The podcast host, who said recently he voted for Trump, complained this wasn’t what he voted for.
“There’ll be people, they’ll DM and say, ‘You see what you’re boy’s doing? You voted for this.’ I’m like, ‘I voted for none of this!’ He’s doing the exact opposite of everything I’ve voted for! I want him to stop the wars, he’s funding them. I want him to shrink spending, reduce the budget, he’s increasing it. It’s like everything that he said he’s going to do — except sending immigrants back, and now he’s even flip-flopped on that — which I kind’ve like,” he said, referring to Trump’s plan to allow some migrants in the farming industry to remain in the country.
Schulz and his fellow hosts also discussed at length the DOJ and FBI announcement on Sunday that disgraced financier and convicted child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide and did not have a client list.
Trump officials have been grilled by the media over the revelation, which seemingly contradicts Attorney General Pam Bondi’s comments earlier this year about the existence of such a list.
“It’s sitting on my desk right now to review,” Bondi told “America Reports” host John Roberts in February. “That’s been a directive by President Trump.”
Trump scolded a reporter who asked about the news at the White House on Wednesday, calling the question “unbelievable.”
Schulz mocked the response.
“So we’re stupid? We’re the f—ing idiots, guys,” Schulz said. “Guys, just to let you know, we’re wasting time. That is, in all seriousness, I think, what is enraging people right now.”
“It’s insulting our intelligence. Obviously, the intelligence community is trying to cover it up. Obviously, the Trump administration is trying to cover it up,” he claimed.
This is how it shakes down: MAGA believed Trump would do what he said he would do. A lot of other people in the country also voted for Trump, evidently believing the same thing. MAGA is as livid right now as any other segment of America. If that’s the case, Trump is in for a lot of trouble.
He needs to make good and make good fast. And there is zero evidence that he’s attempting to make good re: the Epstein client list. As far as the rest of it, yes, he’s flip flopping in immigration and everything else. But the real killer is going to be financial: when MAGA goes shopping for school clothes in a couple of months or for Xmas a couple of months after that, it’s going to be sheer misery at the check out counter.
And that’s when the heat is going to go up in the kitchen. But Trump won’t be in the kitchen, he’ll be out on the golf course.

It’s not a very good argument: “We didn’t vote for Trump to do any of these things. He’s doing just the opposite of what he said he would do.” They need to spell this out a little further. The Democrats were telling you he was going to do just what he is doing, and you paid no f-ing attention. You didn’t believe us. He’s doing exactly what we told you he was going to do. But of course you geniuses didn’t believe us, you believed Trump. A guy who can’t open his mouth without lying.
The level of non comprehension in this country astounds me. I guess we have to learn a hard lesson. This clown is in the process of wrecking the economy and maybe when enough people are hurting badly enough, they’ll start looking at who political candidates really are. Trump told them but they didn’t want to believe him. And they certainly didn’t want to believe us.
I wish *we* didn’t have to learn the lesson with the idiots who didn’t learn the lesson during/after Drumpf’s first misadministration. It wasn’t fun being punished in school for the screw ups of the dumbasses; it’s less fun as grown-ups.
If only the dumb fks knew how to read and actually could comprehend PROJECT 2025.
How many times did he let it slip while campaigning that P25 IS THE FKG AGENDA⁉️
He’s a pedophile, a con man +++- you don’t even have to read the damn tea leaves to know what’s in front of your faces‼️
OMG! Trump told a lie! Who can believe it?
I’m not a genius, but I have common sense and critical thinking skills, just like everyone else, including MAGAs. When Trump (I refuse to call him Mister) rode down the escalator in 2015, I quickly determined he was phoney. His initial comments smacked of lies, racism, and other horrible things. I never voted for him or anyone he supported. Something’s gotta be done.
If there is an election in 2026, vote all repubs OUT.
What Schulz wanted Cheeto to do was still bad. Maybe not as bad as what he’s doing, but still bad for many people. Either way, I wouldn’t want him at my table. Perhaps he could be one of the first voters syphoned from the gop by the America party
Half the country hates him for what he isn’t doing,
and the other half hates him for what he IS doing. Only Demented Donald could manage this epic a f-up.
We are way too invested in thinking “left vs. right.” Of course that’s the way Republicans present it because that presentation makes us look better, and there’s a grain of truth in it in that left and right are real things – but what we they are is real economic theories. But the real battle in the US for as long as I can remember (and I am in spitting distance of 80) is authoritarianism and democracy. We need to know it, and we need to push it and sell it. Before it’s too late would be nice.
