If you’re looking for a master class in how to go completely off the rails, you can do no better than to play clips from today’s United States Cabinet meeting. It beggars anything that the best screenwriter can come up with. First we start with the sitting *president* chastising a reporter for asking about one of the burning issues of the day, which is the sudden disappearance of the Epstein client list, which we were told only four months ago was “sitting on Pam Bondi’s desk.” Here is what Trump said to set that reporter straight.

Yes, let’s all take a vote on the gold leaf for that room. Let’s put the entire national discourse in line with that very narrative this very moment. The man is a complete lunatic and his comment chastising the reporter is not going over very well. And here is the truly ironic part: it’s the right-wingers, Trump’s very own people, who want to see the Epstein list. That’s why Trump is trying to shut down the dialogue on that topic.

There is no way Trump can back out of this. He needs to rethink and redo this and have Pam Bondi come up with something. He’s totally backed into the corner and by his own people. This is a Noem Puppy Murder level of Catch-22. Nobody approved of her doing that and nobody approves of Trump hiding the Epstein client list.

So Bondi will release a Bill Barr-ish laundered list of Epstein’s clients, maybe 10 or 15 names of people no one’s ever heard of and shut the whole thing down. Maybe a bunch of Dems, just to piss everybody off and feed Fux News. We can’t expect anything better from these criminals.
I think these people are capable of anything, even disappearing or manufacturing evidence.
