Trump Got Conned. By His Own SCOTUS. And It May Be Our Salvation

Back in 2024, in the frenzied days leading up to the election, there was a dire Armageddon warning that was popular among the liberal fainting couch denizens, as well as the more susceptible mainstream media monarchs.

Here’s how it went; In the 2024 election, not only is abortion on the ballot, but human and civil rights as we know them are on the ballot. Because if Trump wins, the first thing that will happen is that Thomas and Alito will retire, and Trump will replace them with another Brewski Brett and Coney Barret, which will cement the permanent 6-3 conservative majority on the court for at least a generation. Damn those blasted vapors!

You might not recall my article on the subject at the time, which only shows you’ve been paying attention, since I didn’t freakin’ write one! For the simple reason that, for me at least, it didn’t pass the smell test at the time, and it sure as sh*t doesn’t pass it now. Here’s why.

I tend to give most judges, both state as well as federal, exceptions like the puddle head Aileen Cannon notwithstanding, a wide margin of understanding and respect. I believe that the vast majority of them are sincere in trying to put their personal feelings aside when ruling. But we are all humans, with deeply ingrained personal and moral codes that determine us. That’s why they call it a liberal or conservative Supreme Court, depending on who has the majority.

But that isn’t what we have with this Supreme Court. The Roberts court is a runaway train that has been hijacked by the James brothers, Daffy and Dizzy. And while other members on the court may point to their deeply held moral convictions and beliefs, that doesn’t apply to these two pendejo jerk-offs. These two imbeciles are culture warriors on an ideological quest to take us back to an America that either never existed, or was changed for the better by the very court they now serve on.

And they’re just getting started, gang. These sh*theels have not only shown in their rulings, but by their own personal statements and actions that they subscribe hook, line, and sinker to a far right ideology that even the John Birch Society wouldn’t endorse. And the clown princes are hell-bent-for-leather on making these whack-a-mole concepts constitutional law.

And they’re already reaping the benefits. Clarence Thomas, like some perverted George Washington is gleefully taking a hatchet to affirmative action and racial equality. And Samuel Alito wants to take us back to the 1650’s, requiring women to wear hoop skirts and petticoats, and allowing judges to toss them in the lake to see if they’re witches, then burn them at the stake if they float. Sh*t, he actually quoted some crackpot 1600’s judge’s twaddle in one of his SCOTUS opinions. In their America, minorities will be outsiders in their own country, alternate lifestyles will be judicially outlawed, and tuning up the old lady will be legally permissible again if she had it coming.

But here’s the part that tickles me pink. Of this conservative cabal, by far the most dim witted, clueless member is Justice Amy Coney Barrett. She’s as happy as a hog in slop to vote to restrict or ban abortion, and to roll back LGBTQ rights. What she doesn’t realize is that these two buffoons are card carrying members of the Male Chauvinist Pigs of America.

It will be fun to hear her start keening like a banshee in her minority opinions when these slobs start rolling back workplace and sexual harassment protections, scuttle equal-pay-for-equal-work protections, and, if they have their way, restore workplace dress codes for women. Sorry lady, go find somebody else to whine to.

But here’s the redemption part. These two legal Borgias aren’t going anywhere, like The Blues Brothers, They’re on a mission from God. The earliest I can see these two slugs departing would be sometime in 2027, if Traitor Tot’s popularity numbers are making a GOP blowout loss in 2028 a virtual certainty.

Which is our opening, and it only comes once. By whatever and all means, we must retake the Senate in 2026. If we do that, then we trap those two rats in their own maze until at least 2029. And if one of them shuffles off this mortal coil, then we just pull a McConnell, and refuse to even consider an appointment until after the 2028 election. Sauce for the goose, beyotches!

Of course, all of this depends on the Democrats getting their heads out of their asses, stop quibbling like a bunch of office drones trying to figure out where to go for lunch, and start talking about issues that people actually care about again, along with common sense solutions as opposed to pie-in-the-sky dream lists. Thank God it’s early yet.
