At first blush, I would categorize this as a failure to coordinate the right-wing script concerning what’s on stage to happen this weekend. Protests and demonstrations are planned nationwide. A reporter from Fox News is apparently trying to cue Donald Trump into talking about the picture beyond Los Angeles, but he won’t pick up the cue. So what gives? Susie didn’t clue him in? Stephen Miller was too busy with his domestic problems? Trump stopped listening to Steve Bannon’s show? Maybe all of the above. In any event, here’s the missed pass.

The “Fox News Brain Room?” Oh, I lovvve that one! The brain room. So what does that look like? A bunch of Brain Guys like we used to watch on Mystery Science Theater 3000, standing around and discussing Trump? Or The Brain From Planet Eros, remember that one from the ’50’s? Only now the brain has returned some 70 years later to handle the assignments at Fox News?

The softball question was an opportunity for Trump to peacock and make it look like he had it all completely wired and instead he did another face plant. There will be plenty of protests this weekend, not to mention the Pope doing counter programming. That ought to beinteresting. If Trump hasn’t heard of No Kings Day, he’s the only one.
More than 1,500 “No Kings Day” demonstrations are set to take place across the U.S. this weekend to protest the Trump Administration as President Donald Trump holds a military parade in Washington, D.C.
The demonstrations will take place all over the country on Saturday, coinciding with the parade Trump has planned to mark the U.S. Army’s 250th birthday. Ezra Levin, the co-founder and co-executive director of the progressive organization Indivisible that’s behind “No Kings Day,” told MSNBC on Monday that the protests—originally announced last month—have generated “overwhelming interest” in the aftermath of the Administration’s response to the immigration-related protests in Los Angeles.
“In America, we don’t do kings,” reads a website for the events. “They’ve defied our courts, deported Americans, disappeared people off the streets, attacked our civil rights, and slashed our services. The corruption has gone too. Far.”
The protests will follow days of demonstrations in L.A. over Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids targeting undocumented immigrants. In a rare and controversial exercise of presidential power, Trump over the weekend mobilized the National Guard—against the wishes of California Gov. Gavin Newsom—to quell the protests in the L.A. area, which had been largely peaceful. The move sparked immediate outcry from Democratic politicians, advocacy organizations, and legal experts. Trump has since escalated federal involvement by deploying hundreds of Marines and thousands of additional National Guard troops to the city.
“No Kings is a nationwide day of defiance. From city blocks to small towns, from courthouse steps to community parks, we’re taking action to reject authoritarianism—and show the world what democracy really looks like,” the “No Kings Day” description said. “On June 14th, we’re showing up everywhere [Trump] isn’t—to say no thrones, no crowns, no kings.”
Which will prevail? No Kings or Trump will invoke martial law? Or something in between? To quote Melania, “Stay tuned.”

I’ve seen that room…inside Orangebob shitpants’ head…it’s an empty expanse large enough to fit Canada…the whispers of conspiracy theories blow constantly, as tumbleweeds and dollar bills roll across the landscape. There’s no life there…only images from tv and computer screens that fill the sky. It’s a damn scary place. Oh…and it smells like dirty diapers.
Ha! I just found out that there will be a protest in the town where I live, which means we don’t have to deal with the lack of parking downtown!
It’s a special room RFK Jr. furnished at Fox, complete with offspring of the brain worm that did a number on him!
The 1,500 (+) “No Kings” demonstrations had grown to over 1,850 by Monday (per Rachel Maddow), and are headed for over 2,000 nationwide – thanks to Dear Leader sending in troops to ‘restore order’ in LA. That last is RWBS: the “No Kings” demonstrators are not.
You don’t need a box that big.
I wonder if the “brain room” is a bunch of guys shambling around like “World War Z”
