Enjoy your birthday parade, Donald. Live it up. Because the big picture going forward is not so rosy. The Quinnipiac Poll was released and it’s not good news. It echoes the sentiments that have been expressed in both chambers of Congress that the One Big Beautiful Bill Act is not going to pass in its current form. It’s Trump’s signature piece of legislation so far and it’s headed for the woodchipper. But Donald doesn’t want to see that reality, because he’s gotten it into his head that somehow the fat will be pulled from the fire. That’s probably why he snubbed Ron Paul and uninvited him from the White House picnic, was because Paul was being such a downer about the bill. Turns out we live in an era where Paul, incredibly, is the voice of reason and maybe Trump should listen to him.

That last figure has to hurt, bigly, because Trump has banked everything on his reality TV street show in Los Angeles. This is going to hamper his next moves. Here’s the sad truth: Trump can’t escalate his aggression against civilians in Los Angeles and anywhere else without having at least a majority of the people behind him, cheering him on and believing that martial law is a good thing. So far he doesn’t have that. So what will he do? Good question.

The Department of Homeland Security has a website up with a drawing of Uncle Sam asking citizens to “Report All Foreign Invaders.” You can’t make this stuff up.

How will you know if somebody is a foreign invader? I’m guessing that if they’re not white, that that’s your first clue. Unfortunately, a lot of native born Americans are not white. That’s why you’ve read the stories you have about people waking up at home at night and ICE is breaking down the door, beleiving that the inhabitants are illegal aliens when they’re U.S. citizens. These are not isolated incidents.

Lev Parnas opines that Trump’s strategy is both local and global.

Meanwhile, as I write this, my sources are telling me that strikes on Iran are imminent—from Israel.

Trump is clearing the path behind the scenes. Embassies in the Middle East are quietly being evacuated. Warnings are being issued. Intel chatter is escalating.

You want to talk about a parody of power? This is it.

We are not living through a political debate.

We are living through the breakdown of democracy, live and in real time.

Trump is:

  • Abandoning Ukraine and letting Putin run wild.
  • Igniting the Middle East on fire
  • And most dangerously—preparing for a civil crackdown at home.

We are at the edge of something historic and horrifying.

And that’s why I need you to hear me:

If you’ve been reading these letters, if you’ve been following this movement—this is the moment to share this message far and wide.

I have no way to know how credibie Parnas’ sources are, but he’s far from being the only person to say these things. Forewarned is forearmed.

For now Trump is at a stalemate. The question is whether he sees that or not and what he does about it. His economic gambit with China has so far devolved to China’s benefit and his efforts to depict Los Angeles as a lost city, smouldering in ruins, has only elevated the national profile of Gavin Newsom.

Today is the 12th. It’s been anticipated that today, tomorrow and June 14 would be the culmination of Trump’s reality TV show. Pete Hegseth is right there with the troops and ready to call in more. Let’s see how it plays out. Right now the numbers are not in Donald’s favor and numbers, ratings, are all he’s ever cared about.

  1. Unfortunately Ursula we have been lobotomized with tv for so long…it will literally take a miracle to stop this train.

  2. Hmm. Do you suppose if I called that ICE hotline and reported the names “Stephen Miller” and “Steven Cheung” and “Marco Rubio” and “Melania Knauss Trump,” the folks would act on the “intel?” Maybe throw in “Elon Musk” and “Peter Thiel” and “Patrick Soon-Shiong” for funsies?
