This is a hard shot to call. Barron Trump has kept a low profile for the most part. That’s a good thing, considering how controversial his father is. However, there is an account on TwitX called “Barron Trump News.” So are we to assume that the opinions voiced on that account and the *facts* presented are in fact the thoughts and views of Barron himself? Or, is this some social media account that he allows to use his name? And if that’s the case, to what end? Financial? Or, is Barron oblivious to the existence of this account? Did Elon develop this account? Lots of questions, no answers.

Let’s just go for the obvious here: This is from the tinfoil dimension. This is Donald and Melania’s birther conspiracy passed down to the next generation and then expanded into QAnon and 4Chan territory. This is Dinesh D’Souza and Mike Flynn level batshittery. So either Barron is signing off on this — since it’s under his name — or he’s allowing somebody else to post things for him under his name.
If Barron Trump wants to identify with the tinfoil/QAnon MAGA crowd, that’s certainly his choice to make. And I see it as a stupid and unwise one. All he’s doing is destroying any credibility he might have and embracing the worst of what his parents stand for. But that is a Trump habit. Mary Trump says that Don Junior never became his own person, he just folded to Donald for the money and power early on.
Or, maybe that is very simply who Barron is. Again, we don’t know. We can only look at what’s on X and make the obvious assumption that this account could not exist without Barron at least allowing it to exist. Or, theoretically, maybe he doesn’t know that this account exists.
That’s a little hard to swallow. I think it’s safe that he knows that it exists. And he was 18 when the account was created, in April 2024, so he was an adult.
The political universe has basically let Barron be because he hasn’t come out publicly to declare much of anything. If he was saying any of this from a podium, rather than just on Elon Musk’s platform, OMG, would there be press attention galore. So maybe this account exists to draw in a little coin (not that he needs it) or for some other purpose.
Or maybe Barron is as whacked out as this post would indicate. Now that would be interesting.
One of only two routes here: 1. Probability one is that Barron will eventually come forth and proclaim that these are his thoughts and let’s see how publicly endorsing this level of conspiracy theory goes for him or; 2. This is strictly keyboard warrior stuff, passive/aggressive. Barron (or whomever does the posting on this account) *endorses* these views, but since it’s a *news* account and not a personal account, there’s some distance implied between Barron and what’s in the account.
It’s a slim distinction but it is some distinction. Personally, I think it’s stupid for Barron to identify himself with the tinfoil dimension, however discreetly, but the possibility exists that that is who and what he is. Or, somebody is using him, either with his consent or without his knowledge.
Only time will tell.
The site below has some info. Note that the tag @barrontrump was taken by his mother and the ones that followed were @news_barron and now @_NewsBarron. The posts are very carefully constructed and not what you would expect from a 19 year-old. Looks much more like a QAnon hoax.

I read the link. And overall from where I sit Barron’s “response” or lack of one doesn’t cut it. It’s batshit insane bullshit and neither he or any other famous person prevent people from trying to misuse his name. He CAN denounce them doing so and since this shit is Xitter do something more. That platform is Musks and Elon himself could deactivate the account and leave a message Barron (I don’t see Donald getting publicly involved) asked him to, and also a message from Barron himself denouncing that bullshit CT had been posted in his name.
Since that has NOT happened I suspect Barron simply doesn’t give a f**k, and maybe even “bonds” with his P.O.S. sperm donor (does anyone believe Trump was anything of a real father to him the way most of us think about fathers and mothers?) because he wants a job with the Trump Org when he graduates.
