This is going to do down as one of the ideas of the Trump administration that nobody wants to take credit for. This was a baaaad move. And a stupid one. First of all, this video fails by the only metric that Trump cares about, which is numbers. He would rather make a flaming ass out of himself and have a clip go viral, than to be ignored. This clip is ignored. It’s been up all day and has gotten a few thousand views. It might be good to keep around for nights when you can’t sleep and can use it as a kind of white noise piece. I sometimes play recordings of rain and thunder in a forest at night, that kind of thing, to go to sleep.
Not sure what the message is supposed to be here. Anybody want to guess? Is it
- Trump sleeps at his desk (like he did in court)?
- Trump doesn’t even read what he signs, he’s just an autographing bot?
- While in the Oval Office, what he’s really thinking about is his golf game?
- All of the above?
I also give him credit for the sunshine everyday in Massachusetts.
Where would we be without him?
I’m sure Jesus Christ is also grateful to be saved by Trump, after that sycophantic church service yesterday at the White House.

Lies set to lo-fi, misinformation set to muzak. I guess we should give a point or two for originality.Â
The feed, titled “Lo-fi MAGA Video to Relax/Study To,” had about 900 people watching around 6:15 p.m. Eastern Time, and included brags about Trump keeping his campaign promises next to an anime rendering of the president signing orders in the Oval Office.
Among the promises he touted keeping, renaming the Gulf of Mexico, “demolishing the foreign drug cartels,” ending birthright citizenship for children of illegal immigrants and “onshoring production.”
“Promise kept: PBS: Trump signs executive order to establish a White House Faith Office,” one of the promises reads.
But social media critics quickly leveled the move.
“They [100 emoji] know these are irreconcilable positions and they dgaf. Trump has surrounded himself with people who have no conscience and no shame,” opined X user Mattie Timmer.
“And they know the rubes won’t care, Congress will do nothing (and is compliant), the media has tired of reporting the contradictions, hypocrisy, lies, and lawlessness, and they can do it all again tomorrow… and the next day… and the next…” replied Jeff Timmer, senior advisor at the anti-Trump group The Lincoln Project.
An X user named Celia reacted to a “promise kept” that Trump would be “ending inflation and making American affordable again.”
“When did that happen?” she questioned.
“Even in this video, Trump is sleeping at the desk,” jabbed activist Hemant Mehta on X.
“Not many people know this, but inflation is over,” a tongue-in-cheek Rose Benson, a Charter school board member, wrote on X.
Again, Trump’s one and only metric is attention. And this isn’t getting any. Also, White House Wire, Trump’s new blog, doesn’t seem to be setting the internet on fire. It launched all of two days ago, if you missed that non event.
It’s all part of the charismatic cult leader’s attempt to make America tune in to him 24/7. This and White House Wire are shotgunning efforts, just blast away with anything and hope that if you scatter enough shot out there, you’ll hit something.
Careful what you wish for, Donald. You’ll be getting plenty of attention when the supply chains start to become unstable and it’s COVID redux. Have fun. Last time Donald predicted, “Like a miracle, one day it will all just go away.” COVID did not. And neither is the trade war and the mucking with the economy. There are going to be a lot of angry, disillusioned voters and then we’ll see what kind of a mandate Trump really has.

The Maga’s would have to read it and we know reading ain’t their thing. Also their attention span doesn’t go this last past 10-15 seconds. Bunch of ignorant assho*es!
Well, my attention span is really short (1 sec) when I try to read his crap.
The Muzak cracked me up. Sounded to me like it had a little Chinese influence throughout it.
