If we don’t laugh we shall surely go mad. The news stories breaking every day are seriously that bad. It’s one constitutional crisis after another, stacked up like planes over a black X airport. The titular commander in chief thinks nothing whatsoever of defying court orders — any court, including the Supreme Court. This is hardly normal. But at least if you can see it in comical context, you can release some tension and be ready to fight another day.

Is that a cross made out of chicken McNuggets or have I finally gone mad and that’s what I’m hallucinating? There’s more from this comedienne as well, thank God.

We’ve now had our few minutes of comical interlude and escape. Time to get back to the trenches. Maggie is right about calling our reps and senators. Today in the Oval Office was yet another bridge too far, asking El Salvador’s Bukele to build “five more” torture prisons to house “homegrown criminals” i.e. American citizens.

Batshit is as batshit does. What we saw today was one tin god talking to another one, one two-bit dictator talking to a wanna be two-bit dictator in training.

That’s it. Water finds its own level. Trump finds the worst people on the planet to consort with. He did that during his first reign and this time out it’s much worse.

  4. The level of fetid swamp water in the Oval Office just rose over the levee, folks. Not sure how long it will take to rid the place of the scum but it must be done.
