JD, You Really Put Your Foot In It With China, Of All Places!

JD Vance apparently will never learn to shut his yap and stop saying stupid things. He does very well at pissing people off, that’s for sure! But we already have a bad tariff war with China, and then you say THIS? I can’t even ask “what were you THINKING?” because he obviously doesn’t. Not content with angering 4 other countries, you choose to add one of the biggest ones to the list? The place where we get a LOT of products? How long do you think we’ll last without them? Oh, wait, how could I forget? You don’t think.

Here’s the latest bit of garbage from Vance. He put his foot in his mouth up to the knee. “China on Tuesday slammed US Vice President JD Vance for referring to the Chinese people as “peasants” in an interview that has drawn widespread ire and ridicule on China’s internet – and comparisons with Vance’s own self-proclaimed “hillbilly” background.” Good one. I think you just made the tariff battle worse, and your boss was already doing very well at that on his own. He didn’t need any “help”. What a huge MESS.

I can think of any number of things we get from China, like, say, iPhones, that we just can’t make over here without spending a lot of money just to build the plant! There would be a ridiculous price tag for one, and people in the US would say “hell, NO”. I’m sure there are many, many things I don’t know about, but I’ll bet the list is long, long, long. They’ve already slapped us with a large tariff retaliation. We don’t need another increase. Threatening them with a second increase is just going to make things even worse, but Agent Orange can’t see that. He continues to think he’s in a position of power, slapping tariffs on every country in the world, including the penguins. PENGUINS, for heaven’s sake! But China is a much bigger country, and I’m willing to bet that they can quite happily do without us. Also, let me remind you that they are banding together with Japan and South Korea, who *were* our allies. I’ll bet (again) that they’re going to pull back and rethink the US as an ally.

JD is damn near as good as THE MAN WHO PAINTS HIS FACE ORANGE in angering countries. Remember his speech at the Munich conference? Or his visits to Greenland (who wants nothing to do with him)? He gets a 2 for 1 bonus with Greenland because he is pissing off Denmark, too. And of course, there are also remarks about Ukraine that piss off a LOT of people in both places, here and in Ukraine. So he gets a 2-for-1 with that, too. He SO started that argument with Ukraine when he blindsided President Zelenskyy in their press conference, and *then*, to add yet another insult, President Zelenskyy got kicked out of the White House.  I’m still fuming about that.

Let me show you some of China’s clapback to that comment from JD. “We may be peasants, but we have the world’s best high-speed rail system, the most powerful logistics capabilities, and leading AI, autonomous driving, and drone technologies. Aren’t such peasants quite impressive?” another said. “Look, this is their true face — arrogant and rude as always,” said a comment with 2,900 likes. Asked about Vance’s comments at a regular news briefing Tuesday, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said: “It’s both astonishing and lamentable to hear this vice president make such ignorant and disrespectful remarks.”

Thanks, JD Vance, for adding fuel to the raging inferno that Traitor Tot started with his tariffs. I’m pretty sure you made things worse. Your arrogance is astounding. I’d really like to slap you, but it’s not worth the jail time. I don’t think I could get anywhere close to you, anyhow. Just … shut up.
