The initial Trump administration push to implement some of the most extreme actions ever taken by an executive outside of war has earned the descriptive phrase “Shock and Awe” as applied to its methods and actions. But just as we here predicted, along with nearly everyone else, the Trump administration M.O. nearly ensured that the entire process would at least be slowed down while legally reviewed, if not stopped altogether. Everyone knew this would happen, but President Donald Trump is currently raging over it like it is a personal affront – even though presidents have faced similar injunctions against fewer “shock and awe” moves. Last night, after a week of serious setbacks, Trump railed on his Truth Social account. We break down the post in the interest of clarity:
Unlawful Nationwide Injunctions by Radical Left Judges could very well lead to the destruction of our Country! These people are Lunatics, who do not care, even a little bit, about the repercussions from their very dangerous and incorrect Decisions and Rulings. Lawyers endlessly search the United States for these Judges, and file lawsuits as quickly as they find them. It is then the obligation of Law abiding Agencies of Government to have these “Orders” overturned. The danger is unparalleled!
Many might argue that giving the president such sweeping powers might lead to the destruction of the country. That is why there are courts to test the legalities of some measures. Additionally, while some parties – including many conservative parties like Donald Trump – go forum shopping for friendly judges, at least two of the judges that shot down Trump proposals sit in the DC Circuit, one specifically contemplated as reviewing all administrative action. The other judge sits in San Francisco California – not the panhandle of Texas as some conservatives have used. These judges do care about the impact of their rulings – they want to ensure that the government can do what it wants so long as it is following the law and not violating civil rights. It is not like Trump is the first president to be stopped in his tracks. Be that as it may…
These Judges want to assume the Powers of the Presidency, without having to attain 80 Million Votes. They want all of the advantages with none of the risks. Again, a President has to be allowed to act quickly and decisively about such matters as returning murderers, drug lords, rapists, and other such type criminals back to their Homeland, or to other locations that will allow our Country to be SAFE.
Well, judges didn’t get 80 million votes but they are appointed by presidents that get the most electoral votes and then have to get a majority of senate votes. But the only “advantage” they seek is to get the law right. The Trump administration gets to deport all criminals under the law anyway – they just might not be able to do it overnight and without review – likely the real reason they’ve chosen these paths.
It is our goal to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, and such a high aspiration can never be done if Radical and Highly Partisan Judges are allowed to stand in the way of JUSTICE. STOP NATIONWIDE INJUNCTIONS NOW, BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE. If Justice Roberts and the United States Supreme Court do not fix this toxic and unprecedented situation IMMEDIATELY, our Country is in very serious trouble!
It is a really bad idea to put the onus on the Chief Justice and call him out by name. After all, most judges don’t believe they have a “side” in the fight other than ensuring the law is followed. Many believe that giving the president sole authority to do whatever he wants is a recipe to ruin the country forever. The rule of law is a fundamental part of why we are great.
The injunctions were as predictable as Spring – more so than in Wisconsin and Michigan – purple states. That isn’t stopping Trump from acting as though these judges have suddenly risen up in partisan opposition to his plans. This happens in every administration that is trying hard – always testing the edges. What administrations seldom do is call for impeachments or lashing out on social media. That seems to be the providence of this president.

It would be so nice if a REAL journalist would remind Drumpf of how many times these “radical judges” slapped down efforts by Joe Biden and Barack Obama and Bill Clinton and that his constant WHINING about the judges just proves that he is NOT some sort of “alpha male” but rather a whiny little mouse who’d rather play the perpetual martyr/victim rather than growing up and being a REAL man who shows that he understands the way the law works.

This sounds like a very accurate description of what himself and his cohorts are up to.
Dementia Donnie wants to.be king, bit not in sense of a ceremonial figurehead as King Charles III is, where the Parliament/legislature and Prime Minister run the show. Judges prevent presidents and Royals from breaking the law. If we’d wanted a king, there wouldn’t have been a nasty row back in 1776. Several monarchs learned the hard way.
There’s a lunatic in this story, but he’s not a judge, in fact like most lunatics he has pathologically poor judgement.
