Jimmy Kimmel recently quipped, “Putting Donald Trump on the phone with Putin is like putting your grandma on the phone with a Nigerian prince.” But imagine that Grandma has an ego which tells her that she’s really Miss Teenage America and an astronaut, about to accept the Nobel prize in physics, while writing a best seller, and then you have some kind of idea of how utterly absurd these Putin/Trump “negotiations” are. There are no negotiations. Trump is so outclassed that it beggars description and the only person on this planet who doesn’t know that is him.

Trump thinks he’s doing something diplomatic and all he’s doing is wasting his breath. Putin did not stick to his agreement to cease fire on energy infrastructure didn’t last even one hour. It was a con. But all the smart money says that Trump seriously believes that he came out ahead on this “deal.”
There is no greater waste of time than Trump talking with Putin. Or with one of Trump’s envoys talking with Putin. Putin is laughing at all of them and doing exactly what he wants. Putin cannot be trusted to keep his word, as Zelensky told Trump and Vance in the Oval Office. But they were too busy cosplaying offended diplomats to listen to him.
The rest of the world will do some kind of an end run around America. America is helmed by an utterly useless figurehead president not by a leader. And we thought we were bad off when Dubya was in office.

Trump has betrayed our allies, our nation and Ukraine. Frankly, he is a risk to our country. He will sell out Ukraine, an absolute despicable act against a sovereign nation. WHY is Trump even in this “negotiation”?
It was reported on another site that Putin kept Trump waiting on the phone for an hour. Putin is said to have joked about it with one of his comrades. If this is true, Russia has made a complete ass of Trump. How sad and humiliating.
In addition to a Nobel in physics, the chuckleheads on the right (including the chief chucklehead), think he should get one for his “peace” negotiations involving the conflicts in both Ukraine/Russia and Israel/Palestine. I guess that’s two of ’em or two more. These people must have thought they’d won the day when they lost a staredown with a goldfish.
