What a world we live in, when former congress members tell the sitting president of the United States that he looks ridiculous, with “your pants hiked up right under your man boobs” — and worse. Adam Kinzinger does not like Donald Trump. As to respecting him, oh puhleeze. Kinzinger respects a fruit fly infinitely more than he does Donald. And we can’t gainsay him on that one. That’s about the size of Trump’s moral worth, less than a fruit fly. Kinzinger’s animus today arises from the fact that Trump is trying to nullify the January 6 committee pardons which Joe Biden put into effect, which would of course return Kinzinger to Trump’s crosshairs.

True enough. And Donald had to do something with his displaced aggression this morning. He was enjoying himself with his latest “championship win” at his own golf club. That was fun. Being president isn’t fun. In fact, as far as we can parse together, Trump has decided to act out in his second term. He’s got a lot of anger and unresolved aggression and, if you notice, he comes back from a weekend and deliberately looks for where he can make trouble next.

He got quite a stir going with the 51st state nonsense and the tariffs, and he really got people agitated over the weekend when he removed 200 Venezualans without due process — whether they were guilty of anything or not, who knows? That’s not the point. Spectacle is the point.

And spectacle is what you are going to continue to see, in lieu of governance. Here’s what I see happening: Trump has got to keep topping himself. Today’s idiocy of claiming that Joe Biden didn’t know what he was signing or that if he did, it was an auto signature, and therefore the documents signed are now invalid, is utter madness. I would imagine that Pam Bondi cringes when she sees this, or maybe she just figured out in advance that this would be the situation and just roll with it.

The bottom line here is that Trump is oblivious to what might be illegal or not. Who cares? The only question is does it get attention, i.e., *ratings?* And yes, Donald, you are achieving that. You’re getting plenty of attention and lots of ratings — all headed the wrong direction. Trump is now at a far more negative polling level than he was 57 days into his first term.

Just watch and you’ll see I’m right. Trump is starved for spectacle and attention. He loves chaos. He craves stirring things up and having people react. He believes this is *power* as opposed to what it really is, the outworkings of a deranged, demented sociopath.

But he’s going to own us all, eventually. That’s the goal. He’s going to own the January 6 committee, and Dr. Fauci, and Hunter Biden (laptop and batteries included) and the libs and the snowflakes, every freaking body. He’s going to suck us all into the black hole which is what he possesses in lieu of a soul.

Or die trying. The only question here is how much damage is he going to do to how many people? The tragedy here is that a lot of totally innocent people are going to suffer everything from harassment to unemployment to incarceration and even death. Innocent lives are being lost. I feel terrible in particular for that poor young gal, aged 11, in Texas, who took her own life because she was being bullied in school. The other kids told her her parents would get deported and she couldn’t handle it and killed herself.

This is the kind of toxic world that Trump has created, where children live in fear and decide to end their lives. That is horrific. No other president can claim that as part of his legacy, only Trump.

So kudos to Adam Kinzinger for standing up to him. I’ve been checking Truth Social for Trump’s inevitable blow back and it’s not there. Yet. Maybe Susie grabbed his phone and hid it, while giving him his blood pressure medication and ground some Valium into his Diet Coke.

Friends, if you can help us get through this dark and difficult passage with a donation or subscription we would appreciate it. A lot of America has tuned out politics, and I don’t blame them. But we have to stay in the fight and we need a little help from our friends to do so. Thank you. Ursula

  1. WE ASKED FOR IT…AND WE’RE GETTING IT. I’m with Adam on this…phuck Trump, his cult, and anyone who wants to justify this nazi. Come for me…you better be ready for what you don’t want…resistance. I never thought facing guns and knives all my childhood would be a benefit…wrong. I’ve been trained for this time. He needs people who live in fear and anxiety. I lost that at an early age.

    • What? Scott? You’re not afraid of me?? Your 5’7″ fat bald Jewish Canadian nemesis who argues with you about so much related to Israel? I don’t strike terror in your heart my man? It’s cuz you’re never faced on the ice.Next winter Scott, you’re coming to Montreal for the one-off on the ice: Me, you, skates and hockey sticks. And only one puck between us. It’s ON buddy. Be afraid. Be very afraid.

He always has been oblivious to the law. He never cared! Now he’s just lettin’ his freak flag fly!

    • I guess we can thank Trump for ripping the mask off our cultural and political HYPOCRISY. We now know we’re not above any evil perpetrated by any other country or political system. The French want the Statue of Liberty back since we are now a fascist nation. Understandable.
