It took six weeks, but it finally happened. OMFG. Donald Trump finally caved. It is moments like this that I wish I owned a giant media company and could get a team of editors busy compiling a supercut of the hundreds, if not thousands of times, that Trumpty took to the airwaves and said that it was “easy” to “negotiate” the end of the Ukraine-Russia conflict and just run it 24/7 nonstop on cable. A perpetual motion machine, as it were, of Trump’s lies back to back to back. Stopping the war was easy a few months ago, you recall. So easy in fact, that he would do it in the first 24 hours. With a phone call. But that was then and this is now. Take a look.

“Sarcasm” eh what? Why, what happened with being the bestest negotiator ever, the one with all the best words, the stable genius with the biggest brain? Where’s that guy? Completely full of shit and on the golf course, that’s what and where. And that’s what Trump can handle and all that he can handle.
And guess what, folks? It’s only a matter of time before the Mad King Of Comedy here admits that it was ALL a joke. Lower prices – reduce inflation – cut energy costs in half – make amerika great again – making amerika respected again – making you rich – making countries pay for tariffs, you’ll have so much money you won’t know what to do with it. Bla bla bla. It’s all one big joke — and the joke’s on us.

This is where we are on March 14. In the wee hours today we had the blood moon, which the Book of Joel associates with the End Times and on the same day we have Trump wriggling out of his former posture as Great Peace Negotiator. That’s a kind of End Times situation. It’s the end of pretense, in any event.
Not that this comes as the slightest surprise to anybody. It’s been well known that Trump was bullshitting MAGA. There is some surprise, however, that he’s apparently decided to stop selling that particular brand of bullshit and concentrate on some of his other lies.
And maybe they, too, will be abandoned by Trump. Could we be so lucky as to hear him say that tariffs won’t do anything and it was all “sarcasm” as well? I would not be surprised.
Bear in mind at all times that all Trump wanted to do was stay out of prison. So he promised people any and everything they wanted. But he can’t deliver any of it. And now he’s cornered. And apparently that fact is bothering him a bit, or else why wriggle out of his commitment to end the war?
I think his dementia is accelerating. I think that between his dementia and loss of impulse control that he will soon be blowing off a lot of his former talking points because I think the truth of the matter is that while Trump is relieved he doesn’t have to worry about prison, he hates being president. He alway did. That’s why he wants Elon to do all the work and just send him a memo so he can say the right thing at the photo ops.
Things are going to get a hell of a lot more crazy than they are now. But then you knew that. This is all just confirmation of what you already know.

He has never had any impulse control, just did and took whatever he wanted–including sex. He has always been a liar. I really don’t know if ity dementia or just Trump being Trump. And it really doesn’t matter because he could run naked on the white House grounds, peeing on the Marine Guards and wagging his weenie at kids in line for a tour while groping their mothers with his other hand, and the Republicans still wouldn’t use the 25th amendment.

The man believes himself to be omnipotent, a real big shot and a would-be dictaster. But “Wittle Donnie” is just a squirt in the eyes of the people he admires. He somehow remains unaware of the disdain these people hold for him. This holds for the many who lined up to kiss the ring at his coronation. Their cowardly acts are strictly self-serving as these people do not care a whit for him, his policies, or the millions of Americans who helped put them where they are. But at this point they are indistinguishable from the villainy he represents. I call them collaborators.
