I honestly don’t know if Elon Musk is more stupid or more evil. It’s hard to tell. There are different kinds of intelligence in the world and while Musk has business savvy (which is more than you can say for Trump) he lacks the kind of human decency and insight that is a prerequisite for anybody who proposes to be any kind of a social engineer, and speak publicly about how to better the world. His basic instincts, his hardwiring, if you will, is to be an authoritarian as opposed to being a humanitarian.
It’s tragic that the richest man in the world is so impoverished morally but maybe that goes with the territory. It’s said that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely and we are in a time and place in history to see two of the poster children for that proposition, namely Donald Trump and Elon Musk. Here is Musk speaking in Germany, on a telescreen like Big Brother, before the AfD. The AfD is a modern right-wing version of the Nazi party and Musk tells them that what the Nazis did in the last century was no biggy, man. I’m sure it was music to their ears.

Nazi’fying America isn’t enough for Musk, he appeared virtually in Germany to do the same thing over there.
Musk’s initial endorsement of the AfD last month drew strong rebukes, including from German Chancellor Olaf Scholz who said the tech billionaire’s support of the far-right “endangers” European democracy. Musk has recently thrown his support behind multiple far-right European leaders, including Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and Reform U.K. Party leader Nigel Farage (though he subsequently turned on Farage, saying he “doesn’t have what it takes”).
The billionaire entrepreneur also spent over a quarter of a billion dollars in the 2024 election cycle to get Donald Trump elected president and was rewarded with an influential position leading the new Department of Government Efficiency.
Musk, a close adviser to the president, made waves on Monday during Trump’s inauguration celebrations after making a stiff-armed salute that critics were quick to liken to the Nazi “Sieg Heil.”
But Musk brushed off the comparisons, first saying that “radical leftists are really upset that they had to take time out of their busy day praising Hamas to call me a Nazi,” and then proceeding to post a series of Nazi-themed puns.
Earlier this month, Musk and Weidel, who is running for chancellor, held a free-wheeling and effusive discussion on Musk’s X platform, covering topics ranging from “future Martians” to God — and Adolf Hitler. During their chat, Musk asked Weidel to respond to allegations that the AfD is associated with Hitler’s Nazi party. The chancellor candidate responded by calling the Nazi leader a “communist socialist guy,” and arguing the AfD is “exactly the opposite.”
On Saturday, Weidel thanked Musk for his support, adding: “Make Germany great again!”
Make Germany Great Again first came out of Adolf Hitler’s mouth, to a Germany devastated by WWI. That was pointed out in great detail back in 2016, when Trump Americanized the slogan. To no avail, apparently, and that’s because people are stupid and don’t study history. They don’t think it applies to their lives or to “what’s happening now.” History has profound application to peoples’ lives and to what’s happening now. They may not know how we all got here collectively but nevertheless, here we are. And if things are going to change for the better, then we need to see where they derailed in the first place.
Here we are, less than 100 years later, about to see the world go down the same fascist rabbit hole. And THAT is why we must never forget the Holocaust. Because those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Again. And again. If Stephen Miller is Trump’s Martin Bormann, Elon Musk may be his Joseph Goebbels. And I’m sure he’d be thrilled with the comparison.

Do they remember the ending of the story? Hitler, too cowardly for cyanide, shot himself in the head, hiding in his bunker, underneath the rubble that was previously called Berlin. Goebbels shot his wife, their six children, and then himself. Someday Herr Trump and Herr Musk might find a bullet with their name on it. One never knows. The thousand year Reich lasted 12 years. Nazis aren’t great predictors of future events. Neither was the CEO shot dead on the street so easily it was a reminder of Michael Corleone’s speech to his brothers: If history has taught us anything, it’s that ANYONE can be killed. Oh, and thanks to a Maga moron, we also know your truck isn’t bulletproof either. Hey muskrat…you might ask the NRA or the American Nazi Party,(gop), where did those 400 million guns in America get off to? You know one of those could end up in the wrong hands, maybe in the hands of an assassin, who is very patient, studies your movements like a big game hunter, HATES RICH NAZIS, and catches you with your pants down.
