Well, that didn’t take long.
Obviously still smarting from absorbing the family sized can of whoop-ass that the Right Reverend Mariann Edgar Budde, Episcopal Bishop of Washington, opened up on him at yesterday’s post inaugural prayer service in the National Cathedral (P)resident Cry Like A Baby took to the friendly confines of his disinformation site, Truth Social, to petulantly demand that she apologize to his gross Orange person and disparage her personally for daring him to behave like a Christian and a decent human being…
“Now that the glitz and excitement of inauguration weekend has come to an end, President Donald Trump has resumed his most cherished pastime: late-night grievance-posting on social media.
The first target of his second term in office: the “so-called Bishop” who asked him to have mercy on immigrants and the LGBTQ+ community.
During a Tuesday interfaith service at Washington National Cathedral, the Episcopal bishop Right Rev. Mariann Budde directly addressed Trump—who was sitting among the congregation with Vice President J.D. Vance and their families—and asked him to “have mercy upon the people in our country who are scared now.”
After the service, Trump told reporters he didn’t think the service was good and that, “They could do much better.” Later, at about 1 a.m., he took to his social media platform Truth Social to call Budde a “Radical left hard line Trump hater.”
“She was nasty in tone, and not compelling or smart,” the president complained.“
Oh, that’s rich. Trump, whose own college prof called “the dumbest #@%%*!## student I’ve ever taught” calling someone else “not smart” because she had the guts and grit to tell him to stop being a jerk.
If only his negligent parents had done the same.
“Budde—who speaks with the type of calm, steadying voice typically found on meditation apps—failed to mention the “large number of illegal immigrations that came into our Country and killed people” or the “giant crime wave that is taking place in the USA,” Trump added.
In fact, violent crime has plummeted over the past three years, according to ABC News, and research shows undocumented immigrants commit far fewer crimes than people born in the U.S.
Nevertheless, Trump complained about Budde bringing her church into politics “in a very ungracious way,” and declared the service “very boring and uninspiring.”
Yeah, sure dirtbag, as if your demand that women and children be rounded up and sent to camps is in any way gracious.

Here’s hoping the good bishop and/or her church do not bow to Thrump’s demand.
We’ll need as many voices as we can muster to speak the truth in the coming years.
When someone has been convicted of 34 counts of fraud and has been found guilty of sexual assault and has seen numerous “business enterprises” fail (including casinos having to declare bankruptcy for NO reason except for the owner’s malfeasance; casinos having to declare bankruptcy because of, say, a pandemic keeping people away–well, that makes sense) and be denied the right to operate a business in certain locations, well, maybe that someone should just shut the fork up about anyone else’s “criminal” behavior.
Trump is just lucky that E Jean Carroll didn’t file CRIMINAL charges against him for the *rape*. Oh, Trump might want to remember that grabbing women by their private parts is also a crime if it’s done without their full affirmative consent. Something tells me if an immigrant–even a fully legal one–had publicly bragged about doing that, Trump wouldn’t be quite so blasé and would be pressing to have charges brought against the person (even if Trump had no actual standing in the situation) and even demand the person be deported.
Anything LESS than her proclaiming him the new God Almighty and saying all the world should bow down in worship to him would have been offensive to Trump. If there is a god (I’ve long been agnostic) from where I sit he’s given up on us. Allowing circumstances that would permit Trump to again become President is his way of telling Christians and everyone else “I sent my only son to teach you the way. You have either ignored his teachings or outright rejected him, even after four years of his doing Satan’s work on the Earth. I offered you chance after chance to do the right thing and you rejected me and the teachings of the New Testament. TO HELL WITH YOU.”
Maybe someday when the wreckage of what Trump will eventually have wrought of the earth and humanity has sat for a while God might try again. Maybe. If there is a god. But what kind of god would allow what has happened, and what will happen to take place? If people, Trump people want to choose Hell then fine. Forcing those of us who choose, whether of the Christian faith or not to try to live good lives, to help others whenever and however we can, to take care of this planet which is far more fragile in its ability to sustain life than most want to accept (in other words take CARE of God’s creation!) shouldn’t be forced to share the hell Trump/MAGA wants to create.
Donald Rump is what happens when you don’t teach your children decency, honor, compassion, empathy, responsibility, consequences, respect. They grow up to be whiny, destructive a**holes.
Yes and he’s also what happens when you don’t offer your children love. A loveless child cannot love, not even his or her self, and certainly not other people. In many cases the result is a malignant narcissist, whose apparent self-worship is in fact a camouflage for a profound self-loathing.
You also need to teach them history. Such as the history of the rise of Naziism in Germany after the first World War. So that they cam see that it’s happening again.
Also, how the Nazis used the good ole USA and KKK as a template. Why do you think Hitler was so shocked when America sided with the Alies? Oh, another bit of missplaced or distorted history, Chamberlin wasn’t appeasing Hitler. He and his capitalist buddies were hoping he would destroy the Communist for them. The capitalist weren’t tired of war. They had been sending troops and arms to help the White Army, the Zarist since the end of the ‘Great War’. Some like history to be like a can of worms, hard to get a fix on where the little fellas are headed.
