I was deeply moved by the services and ceremonies for Jimmy Carter today. I told myself I wouldn’t give Trump the satisfaction of writing about him. Until tomorrow by which time he’d have crapped all over things on social media. However, I had a conversation that caused me to change my mind. And since it’s less about Trump and more about someone else what the hell, I’m going for it. As you know Trumpty didn’t care if the mob dragged Mike Pence out and hanged him on J6. Nor his wife and at least some of his family that was with him that day! Pence has been pretty much a spineless weasel most of his life but one always had the feeling his wife Karen, who he always referred to as “Mother” was made of sterner stuff. Pence wanted to be President so badly that for a while he tried to pretend Trump throwing him and his family to the wolves wasn’t that big a deal. There were reports however Karen/Mother was major league pissed. Today we saw evidence of it in spades when she refused to even acknowledge the Trumps, much less stand up and shake hands.
Multiple outlets have written about the interaction, or rather lack thereof. I’m going to link you to an article by The New Republic. Yes, it’s rated as having a liberal bias but the linked article is pretty straightforward and devoid of cheap shots. It’s more ‘Just the facts maam’ in tone. Yet it’s still funny to read and think about:

President-elect Trump and his wife, Melania, walked past his former Vice President Mike Pence and his wife, Karen, who were sitting alongside another former vice president, Al Gore.
Gore and Pence both stood up to greet Trump and Melania, shaking their hands and saying a few words. But Karen Pence stayed seated, staring ahead icily instead of greeting the couple.
That’s it in a nutshell (peanut pun intended!). Karen Pence is still so pissed at Trump she not only kept her fanny in her seat while her hubby and Gore shook hands with the Trump’s and smiled, “Mother” wouldn’t even LOOK at them! Ya think perhaps she’s still holding a grudge at the despicable P.O.S. that put her husband, herself and one of their daughter’s lives at risk rather than accept he’d gotten his butt kicked in the election? But wait, there’s more! If you think perhaps it was just ‘one of those moments’ as the linked article tells us Karen Pence was quite willing to exchange niceties with other bigwigs:
It’s highly likely the snub was intentional, especially as Karen was seen later greeting former President George W. Bush and his wife, Laura.
That’s enough for me. They say no one can hold a grudge like Trump but on this one, and with the country and world tuned in live it’s clear that Karen Pence has NO forgiveness in her heart for Donald Trump. Don’t go thinking I admire her. Her views on various issues are I believe simply awful. Disgusting. However even a stopped clock is right twice a day and today was one of those times we got to see it happen. To TRUMP. AND Melania. Anyone want to bet that if Mike Pence dies before Trump “Mother” will channel Cindy and Meghan McCain and publicly tell Trump he’s NOT welcome? Well, that would be entertaining as hell. I just wonder what was going through the flaming orange human shaped rectum’s head when “Mother” snubbed HIM. He could have cared a bit about “Melanie” getting snubbed but HIM. In front of everyone?
As I like to say I take my entertainment where I can find it. And this was some bigly entertainment. At least for me. If you don’t want to go to the linked article watch the brief interaction for yourself, and make a toast just this one time to “Mother.”

I give her credit for not slapping the shit out of him. After all, Pence, the faux ‘christian’, did stand quietly by allowing the devil to do his evil…for YEARS! I guess, having no real religious interior life wouldn’t really prepare you for the Devil. Huh Qtip? Read the gospels do ya Qtip? Here’s a passage for you in case you’re confused. The heading is called Children of the Devil, reportedly written by the apostle John.
“You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. Yet because I tell you the truth, you do not believe me.” John 8: 44-45
For you christians…I have a question. Do you believe in the Devil? If you don’t, then you shouldn’t believe in Jesus, no matter what the Roman historians said. After all, Jesus believed, or the oral tradition, written down a few decades later, is just a LIE. Don’t worry about me…after a near death experience, and having experienced evil entities in supernatural darkness, I believe Jesus existed, and still does, as does his adversary. I haven’t met Jesus. I’ve met his enemy, who’s domain we occupy. It still brings me shudders 50+ years later. I just love how CERTAIN everybody is of their ‘reality’ THIS SIDE OF THE GRAVE. Laughable, or it would be, if this domain of his wasn’t covered in INNOCENT BLOOD. There is a judgement for the evil we’ve done as a nation, as there will be for each of us…we’re watching it roll up as I type. Those thousands of expensive burned out homes in the richest areas of LA, sure looks like HELL, and those we worship in America, the rich and famous, found out it means nothing in the long run. Somewhere in space and time we’re already dead…we are just riding the planet until our number rolls around on the roulette table. Think about that.
