MAGA is committed to lies. They are a party of liars, now entrenched in and enmeshed with the shards of what used to be the Republican party. The GOP got reduced to a bunch of splinter groups without purpose or direction. The religious fanatics joined with the Nazis/KKK faction, and all of them hate women — as Senator Deb Fischer’s husband proved this morning when he wouldn’t shake the hand of the Vice President of the United States, who had just sworn his own wife into office. In all events, today is the four-year anniversary of the Capitol Riot and here is how it is being dis-remembered. This is adding insult to injury and is a total disgrace — not to mention an insult to intelligence.

Leave it to Bobo to wreck a good money making conspiracy theory. She will not be remembered kindly for this. But, on the other hand, this is one of the few times she’s telling the truth about something, so mark the occasion well.
And the truth is in short supply these days. This will blow your mind. This is MAGA Rep. Mike Collins sailing a memory hole version of the Capitol Riot that would be comical if it wasn’t horrifying.
Representative Mike Collins has taken the Republican rewrites of the January 6 riot to new heights. “On #ThisDayInHistory in 2021, thousands of peaceful grandmothers gathered in Washington, D.C., to take a self-guided, albeit unauthorized, tour of the U.S. Capitol building,” Collins wrote in a particularly stupid post on X Monday.
“Earlier that day, President Trump held a rally, where supporters walked to the Capitol to peacefully protest the certification of the 2020 election. During this time, some individuals entered the Capitol, took photos, and explored the building before leaving,” Collins continued, sanewashing the violent siege that led to the deaths of five people, cost taxpayers more than $2 million, and set off a delayed-released coup that finally came to fruition with Trump’s return to the White House.
The Georgia Republican stayed strapped to the soapbox, lamenting the “peaceful protestors” who’d been tried for their participation in the violent insurrection.
“Since then, hundreds of peaceful protestors have been hunted down, arrested, held in solitary confinement, and treated unjustly. Countless hours and taxpayer dollars have been spent pursuing innocent grandmothers and raiding President Trump’s home, while terrorists and millions of illegal immigrants continue to cross our nation’s borders, causing havoc in our communities,” Collins wrote. “Thankfully, President Trump has announced that, on day one of his presidency, he will grant pardons to nonviolent defendants.”
And everybody is waiting to see just what he does. Two schools of thought on this, at least: 1. Trump will pardon the violent and the nonviolent alike, to show us all that he’s Daddy Donald Dictator and we’re not; 2. Trump will pardon some people, probably nonviolent defendants but don’t count on it. It could be a mix. Trump might draw names out of a hat.
Or, there is a third possibility, that he won’t pardon anybody at all and that’s another way of playing Daddy Donald Dictator. He may start to show his own MAGA troops what’s what and who’s who. Why? Because he doesn’t need them anymore.
They served their purpose. The electorate kept him out of prison. That’s all he cares about. Don’t be surprised if he turns on them because Trump turns on everybody eventually. That’s why ETTD came into being.

As you’ve noted Ursula, he has no real loyalty to anyone or anything other than himself. As far as he experiences reality…HE is the whole world. So…if we thought the disgruntled were on the march before…we haven’t seen anything yet. You have noted he will turn on them…he already has with backing the south African version of a Macy’s Parade balloon head, and chatty Cathy, about smart immigrants. That’s nothing. Wait til all those on Obamacare, and other social safety net programs start to lose real money. Maybe they’ll get so disgruntled they won’t ever vote again. Prepare for lively times. Sorry, I can’t help right now, but keep writing and reporting. You may feel like a small candle in a deep cave…but without you, and others who are dedicated to telling the truth, we’d be in complete darkness. Maybe someday there will be more candles and we’ll all find our way out of this darkness. God willing.
A pardon won’t get the J6 traitors their jobs back. It won’t get their wives and children back. it won’t return to them one second of the time they’ve already served. I doubt Trump will pardon any of them, but if he does, it’s a hollow victory. Just another way of owning the libs. I’ll save my energy for the fights that matter.
