Chief Justice John Roberts Has End Of Year Things To Say, and He Might As Well Have Said Trump’s Name.

The Chief Justice outlined types of “illegitimate activity” in a report that threaten judicial independence – and might as well have said the quiet part out loud – that they are mostly aimed at the Orange Baby Balloon. But on the other hand, there was NOTHING about the behavior of the justices being bought and paid for with lavish gifts, lavish trips or they don’t recuse themselves from cases they have NO DAMN BUSINESS being on…you know, like Clarence Thomas and his wife, with J6, *just* for a start.

Hmmmm is this hypocrisy I see? Why yes, yes, it is! And is this a surprise? No … no … no … unfortunately it is not. And they wonder why the country has no faith in them anymore. I think one way of looking at it might be *because you are stupid*. How can we expect them to judge fairly when they won’t even judge *each other* fairly. SCOTUS Code of Honor? Yea, right. Words are only words until they are put into action and these aren’t being put into action.

Buuuuuut, back to my original topic on this topic. “Illegitimate activity”, what was I was musing on before I got sidetracked to the other side of this topic … oh, right. We have: violence, intimidation, disinformation (gee, ya think??!!) and threats to defy lawfully entered judgements. Now doesn’t that sound like the Cheeto Prophet? WITCH HUNT. If you’re not with me, you’re against me, and he pretty much thinks the WORLD is against him. He has *quite* legitimate cases against him. Don’t think for a moment anything would slip by Jack Smith. DO think of another judge owned by the Cheez-Whiz Traitor Tot who *threw out* a legitimate case because of the unconstitutional appointment of a special counsel, with all the evidence RIGHT THERE. Plain as day evidence. And why could SHE appoint a special counsel for the Orangutan (which, of course, she finally got slapped down for) but Jack was unconstitutional?

Woop got sidetracked again. Back to our regularly scheduled broadcast. Let’s pick one of the 4 things the Chief Justice listed. Intimidation. That one will do. Trump was constantly going after judges (and jurors, and assistants, and other lawyers, and so forth) when things weren’t going his way. Then he lies about his cases and court decisions. Hello WITCH HUNT ad nauseum? Rage posting at all hours of the day or night? Acting like everything, and I do mean EVERYTHING, is a personal affront to him? That people are really out to get him? Well gee, play stupid games, win stupid prizes. DUDE. You committed criminal acts and you were FOUND OUT. All those lovely records that you declassified with your brain – except you didn’t and they weren’t yours to keep, plus bonus, in PUBLICLY ACCESSIBLE storage locations. A *bathroom*? *Really*?

Moving on again … “At its most basic level, distortion of the factual or legal basis for a ruling can undermine confidence in the court system,” he stated. “Our branch is peculiarly ill-suited to combat this problem, because judges typically speak only through their decisions. Every Administration suffers defeats in the court system — sometimes in cases with major ramifications for executive or legislative power or other consequential topics,” Roberts stated. “Nevertheless, for the past several decades, the decisions of the courts, popular or not, have been followed. Within the past few years, however, elected officials from across the political spectrum have raised the specter of open disregard for federal court rulings,” he stated. “These dangerous suggestions, however sporadic, must be soundly rejected. Roberts also expressed grave concerns over an increase in violence and threats against judges, stating that “hostile threats and communications” directed at them tripled over the past decade.”

Now the Chief Justice has some very valid points. There’s certainly more than I have pulled out. Remove the log out of your own eye before you remove the chip in your opponent’s. Clean out your own house before complaining about others. Great article about SCOTUS but the report was only half there and half completed. How are we supposed to believe in you when you have justices that are bought and paid for? You won’t clean your own house first. I don’t believe that his documentation will be believed if he doesn’t address ALL problems. We’ll wait and see, Chief Justice Roberts … for now. For now.
