Follow the money is always good advice and never so much so than in Trump world. That is a place where people flock for the money. Whether it’s Jared and Ivanka, sitting on a cool $2 Billion for reasons which have yet to be sufficiently explained, or Chris LaCivita, rumored to have gotten $22 Million for managing the Trump campaign, the grift goes on. The grift is the purpose of MAGA, there is no other. Well, alright, there’s the essence of MAGA, which is that the MAGAts love to hear their crass, vulgar candidate disparage everybody because they never heard a politician rant that way before, yes. But that has gotten old and now the grift is what’s left. And into the grift along waltzes a man who is very wealthy in his own right.

I fact checked it and NBC News confirms that Mary Richardson Kennedy’s coffin was exhumed. I don’t know what the connection is with strange burial spots and ex wives or dead wives but there appears to be one.

RFK, Jr. was another Trump genius idea that went awry. Trump thought the inclusion of RFK, Jr. in his world was going to somehow include the Kennedy magic from the 60’s. That magic is gone. I remember it very well. Jack and Bobby were the icons of my childhood but that was long ago and we live in a very different world.

Trump’s other genius idea was to push the assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania. At the time Trump crowed, “Reagan got 49 states after his assassination attempt.” Well, yes, he did, but Trump is not Reagan and we are not in the mid-eighties. But for weeks the pinned tweet on Trump’s two Twitter accounts was the Fight! Fight! Fight! video. (And if the truth would be known, he got sprayed by some shrapnel. But who knows if the truth will ever be known?)

So the question becomes, what will Trump do if he believes that RFK, Jr. has stolen from him? Reportedly Trump had the same conversation with Chris LaCivita and LaCivita convinced him that he had not stolen from Trump. Are Bobby, Jr. and Trump headed for the same pow wow?

Or, is this merely Laura Loomer lashing out at other members of Team Trump because she has been excommunicated, at least if a recent article in The Atlantic is true? Maybe RFK, Jr. is blameless and it’s Loomer’s intent to take everybody down because she herself is now out of the power circle?

We don’t have those answers. But we do know that money is going to become a central topic of conversation, if not the only topic of conversation, post election in Trump world. Don’t forget that the sentencing on the hush money trial will happen later this month and then Trump will be sitting for three more criminal trials. It is likely that (should he be convicted) all the sentences will be rolled together.

Point being, a defeated-at-the-polls Trump soon turns into criminal-defendant-now Trump. And that is going to take money. Lots of money.

    Money he doesn’t have.

    Because it’s all a front, a facade, a fraud.

He’s probably scarcely a dozenaire, let alone a millionaire. Or even more risibly, a billionaire.

    He’s poor.

    Poor people go to jail.

    Just ask anyone in jail.

      • Don’t kid yourself, that *Truth Central* (properly called Truth Social) is another helium balloon that earlier this month was worth about 20% of its initial public offering price, and that will totally deflate if /when the Bronze Bozo loses on Tuesday. The fact that DJT stock hasn’t already dropped into penny stock territory is due to MAGA retail investors who either fail to recognize or willfully ignore the fact that any company with a multibillion dollar capital base that only generates six-digit revenues is a flat-out lost cause and continue to support it.

      • Not really. It’s a pipedream with money on paper. If you look at the actual books, it’s never been a profitable venture. The stock fluctuations are what give it the illusion of value. Put it this way, when a bunch of investors bought in, the stock rose and Trump was worth $6 billion overnight. And then a few months later it began to tank and then he had a $1 billion stake. I don’t know where it’s going next but it’s one of those shell games that happen on the stock exchange, you make money if you get in and get out at the right time.
