For reasons passing understanding, many voters including myself have a tendency to believe that JD Vance will moderate some of Donald Trump’s most extreme views or plans. It is still “possible” that Vance might do so but even that foolhardy hope seems less likely every day. It all seems to be slipping away even though it may have been a baseless absurdity in the first place.
Leaders of autocratic movements use the same script over and over. It works despite that fact that the tactics are laughably simple and easy to spot. It works, it works, it works – so be afraid because JD Vance is all-in on the old plan – the one that works. It works when leaders castigate the media as being against the people. Followers no longer believe the facts as reported while also “knowing” that they’re too smart to be manipulated. Followers get their news from the autocrat.
A dictatorship is also usually founded on hyper-nationalism. A sea of flags envelope the movement as they declare themselves the only ones who love their country, only they can save its future. They even have their own symbols alongside the flag as we saw in Germany and in baby blue now – all to set themselves apart as the real committed citizens. They are the only patriots, anyone outside their movement is against the nation.
Combining this castigation of the media and outsiders as the opposition leads to the inevitable call for violence against the “enemy within.” Understand, all dictatorships require a call to fight the “enemy within.” It was hoped that JD Vance would resist calling fellow Americans “the enemy” at the very least, even if there was nothing he could do about it. He is not resisting – as evidenced by his responses to Bill Hemmer’s questions regarding the “enemy within” in a Fox News interview reported by Rawstory:
“Well, Bill, first of all, Donald Trump is unfiltered. I think this is one of the reasons why the campaign has gone well is because he’s not doing a basement campaign strategy. He’s not just running on slogans. When people ask him questions, he speaks from the heart.
“And sometimes that means he’s going to talk about issues that the mainstream media isn’t focused on.”
So, according to Vance, when Trump talks about fellow Americans outside his movement as the enemy and the need to use the military against them, he is speaking from the heart, these aren’t slogans, which does nothing but make Trump more dangerous. He becomes impervious to arguments directed to a logical mind, instead going with instincts borne out of his heart – or gut.
It is even possible that JD Vance is now scared of what he’s hearing and thus intimidated into echoing Trump’s words. Why would someone assume or at least hope that Vance might moderate Trump’s ideas? That is probably an absurd question but likely relates to the hope that someone in Trump’s inner orbit will argue that Americans on any side remain Americans – not the enemy. Vance may now being cautious such that he’s not considered the enemy.
As for Trump, speaking from the heart, speaking from the head, speaking at all about using the military against other Americans is fixed as part of his platform. History teaches us that dictatorships necessarily include a war waged within and people die.JD Vance looks to support the the plans.
Meanwhile, we know what’s been promised.

Of course bedbug is all in! He WANTS all of the dictatorship as HE will be the DICTATOR. Once elected, vonshitznpants will be dumped via the 25th Amendment or “window” or “stair” “cancer” and bedbug WILL rise to be “der Furher”.
Bingo. One of the stupidest things trump has EVER done was dumping pence and replacing him with hillbilly boy. He should know this: pence proved he wasn’t going to do ANYTHING underhanded to trump for good or ill. One only has to listen to hillbilly boy and know that trump’s days in the oval, should we have the extreme misfortune to be saddled with his ass again, are numbered and those digits are very small numbers. Now I doubt hillbilly boy has the cajones to off trump but the 25th? Oh yeah. I think he’d get those wheels in motion the day after trump’s inauguration-convincing whoever he could to sign off on it. I don’t think he’d have much problem getting co-signers either.
Except, vonshitznpantz is the ONLY one who isn’t in on the plan to dump his shitty ass ASAP after installation. HE thinks he’s going to be the “dear leader” but he’s going to be stuffed into some cheap nursing home if not outright “eliminated” before he has an opportunity to cock anything else up.
But orange menace probably has assurances by Vance of pardons and somehow having state charges mysteriously dropped and a one way ticket to Russia or Venezuela or who knows, maybe North Korea if he is really desperate. He would be treated as royalty there, so he thinks (I know, he doesn’t think!) and will live out his life with adulation and riches galore. Dream on dumbass!
He is not going anywhere, will never receive a criminal sentence. The only goal should be keeping him out of the White House.
It would behoove someone to research Curtis Yarvin and his links to Vance and Thiel. Vance would be far far worse than trump.
