Marjorie Taylor-Greene has managed to stand out as super-weird in a super weird party in a super weird city. She worked hard to earn the label, talking about lasers in space starting forest fires among all too many other things. “MGT” as she is known – whether affectionately within the party or not so affectionately with us, is always good for some entertainment as is her whacked want. But now she’s being insanely wacky and weird at a time when her district desperately needs her.
Hurricane Helene took 200 victims confirmed dead and the total could go up. The storm’s path left Northwest Georgia – Marjorie’s district – all too close to the bullseye and the devastation wrought will take months to clear. Without regard to party, those people – red and blue, black and white, men and women, all need MGT to come through now and get on FEMA and other government red tape to deliver the money.
She doesn’t have time to distract from her job or be partisan. But Marjorie wouldn’t be MGT without using every effort to lob attacks at the Democrats and she managed to do so by claiming that Democrats can control the weather, which means we sent the storm all too close to her district and we killed 200+ people. This is obscene.

Do what now? Shake your head in disbelief. This is almost too much fun to play with because California is one of the most Democratic states in the country and yet it’s experiencing drought so intense that space lasers start massive wildfires – if Democrats can control the weather, why don’t they make it rain!
But with so many dead we shouldn’t be playing at all. Marjorie doesn’t even know what seems to be going on. For her to say “they” control the weather, she must also admit that “they” steered the hurricane around her district. In fact, she said just that – this is so weird – just yesterday in her district (GA-14th):
“Hurricane Helene was directed straight up our entire district. We all prepared for the storm thinking that we would see devastation. We didn’t. We saw that storm turn to the east and tragically devastate South Georgia, Central Georgia and the eastern part of our state, from Valdosta to Augusta.”
It is really hard to play the victim when you are not actually a victim – you understand. The storm did hit Atlanta hard – a Democratic stronghold. And yet Valdosta and Augusta are very red, too, so this makes no sense. It is coming from MGT so it actually does make sense.
Want to complicate matters? Marj is happy to oblige. Make sense of this post on “X.” She lays an electoral map over something. She says the map is over devastation but now we’re really confused. Take a shot:

So, is the hurricane red colored or kind of red-brown? It is hard to read the directions. It is impossible to tell whether the hurricane followed any sort of pattern because the state is red except for Atlanta and Athens (University of Georgia). Thus it would seem that any path the storm could take was going to hit red areas. Is she saying that the Democrats simply blasted Georgia? We WIN Georgia!! And if we had to pick a place to blast, the most rural Northwest might hurt the fewest people. So is MGT saying that we spared her district? And, I guess this need be said, we cannot control the weather and that is sort of regrettable.
As per usual, even if we asked Marj what she meant her answer would only confuse us more. It is best to simply think and pray for the victims and leave Marjorie to her own maps and attempts to find our super-secret weather-laser control room.

l lived for 12 years in Gwinnett County. Lots of creeks and small rivers. If you get a slightly heavy rainfall, they overflow. The government there has tried to prevent development around Lake Lanier and the larger creeks tp.no avail. The folks with money do it anyeay.
When hurricane Matthew hit NC Trump was president. FEMA only gave our governor 1% of the aid requested as he was a Democrat. Now he lies about Biden/Harris withholding aid. Hey folks when the phuck are you going to learn? My best friend ran for congress a few years ago. We both live in Carrboro/Chapel Hill, a democratic stronghold with a large population of highly educated folks from everywhere. He once described NC as Alabama east of I-95, and Mississippi west of I-77. I wonder if the Maga crowd west of I-77 learned anything from this disaster. Maybe start with CLIMATE CHANGE IS REAL, NOT A HOAX! Or…will they go with the horses’ ass from Georgia claiming the democrats are responsible for the storm. Either that or it’s the Jews once again using those space lasers. Stupidity has a cost friends. We’ll find out in a month how high the rent’s going to be to continue living on planet earth.
