It never is. It’s society’s fault, it’s the result of poor toilet training, who knows what all? But in this case, a blameless Trump, whose parting shot as he left the courthouse was, “I’m a very innocent man,” was convicted via the deft machinations of Barack Obama. (And maybe Bill Clinton as well.)

That’s it in a nutshell. Habba has been described as a “parking lot attorney.” Not sure what that even means, but I believe it means she wasn’t a white-shoe law firm partner like Todd Blanche was before he decided to sell his reputation and his soul to Donald Trump. So she’s not the kind of person who makes a couple of million dollars a year practicing law, or is invited on television all the time. Or, at least she wasn’t pre-Trump.
She’s there, like all the rest, because they’re part of the Trump freak show. And when that circus closes out of town, her best bet is to write a tell-all. Because she’s never going to see this level of high cotton again. Trump is her meal ticket, period, end of story. So the rage and rancor that you will see in coming months is real. (Out of curiosity, I did find that the “plus c’est pareil” form is the title of a book by a man named Guy Giguère but I can’t find anything about the man himself as the name apparently isn’t all that uncommon–I found at least three individuals with that name but different jobs.)
Just one more reason for the rhymes with hunt to lose her law license.
