MTG Tells John Bolton Go F*** Yourself When He Explains GOP’s Last Chance To Not Nominate Felon

The Good Ship GOP is going the way of the Titanic. It officially hit the iceberg today and it is in two pieces now. John Bolton, who was Donald Trump’s National Security Advisor, along with Governor and Senate Candidate Larry Hogan, are both giving a wake up call to the GOP. This is the time to get in the lifeboats, both of them cry out, in the cold night air. (Well, okay, it’s an afternoon in the summer.) But hearing their call is Marge Greene and she’s telling everybody to stuff it. You knew this conversation would get high class as soon as Marge joined it.

With her posting this it all but confirms what I am hearing. Members of the GOP don’t want him to run bc they will lose the House and Senate. By distancing themselves they are shielded in those vulnerable seats. Its to late for any of that in my opinion

The bottom line is does the rest of the GOP want to go down with Trump and MAGA? Because that’s how it is. There is no conservative party on the ticket against the Democrats. There is MAGA with their Convicted Felon Mango Messiah and then there are MAGAs down ballot and then there are some *normal* Republicans. The normal Republicans or old school, if you prefer, want to cut bait. They’ve finally woken up. But will MAGA override them?

Here is Don Junior, the pie hole of MAGA, calling America an “absolute crap hole” from the living room of his mansion before he goes upstairs to his opium den studio. Start on an eight ball, take a deep breath, Junior, you’ll feel so much better and forget about what a crap hole you’re in. And if you’re a Trump and living in Palm Beach around your toxic father and the degenerates he surrounds himself with, you do make a good point. You are living in a crap hole. Too bad you never had enough balls to achieve escape velocity and break free from your father’s orbit. He’s had you as a satellite all these years and all you do is reflect his ugliness. You have lost any semblance of personhood which you may have once had a potential to achieve. Go ask your psychologist cousin to explain it to you.

And back to Larry Hogan, another voice of reason along with John Bolton (and what a day this is when John Bolton is the voice of reason.) I thought we broke the mold when Mitt Romney became the voice of reason, but no, we did not. Not even close.

Shut up. We’ll peacefully wait for the appeal, but let’s not pretend this banana republic stuff in any way resembles the rule of law. It is the rule of lawfare.

Well, that’s definitive at least. This old school GOPers are either going to sink or swim. If I was in their shoes, I would convene some kind of an ad hoc committee. Get Mitt Romney, Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, get the entire band together. Any reasonable Republican you can find. Olivia Troye, Miles Taylor, anybody who knows what’s what. Hell, even call Mike Pence. And see if you can’t save the party.

Or, don’t do a damn thing and watch the party sink beneath the waves. I don’t think there is a third alternative at this point. I don’t think the convicted felon is going to win. We’ve never seen this before in American history. It’s stunning that Trump has kept this carnival ride going this long. But the merry-go-round tipped over this afternoon. Trump isn’t going to ride it, broken as it is, back into the White House.
