Trump critic and native New Yorker Robert De Niro took to the microphone and cameras of the Fox News Network at the Manhattan Courthouse where the Trump Trial saga is winding down this morning, with Jan. 6th Capitol Police Officers Harry Dunn and Michael Fanone watching his back, to denounce Donald Trump as a coward and a clown who would never expose himself to physical violence but would happily direct others to use it for his benefit… no matter the cost to themselves and others.
“Actor Robert De Niro and former Capitol police officers Michael Fanone and Harry Dunn slammed former President Donald Trump at a campaign news conference for President Joe Biden outside of Trump’s criminal hush money trial in Manhattan on Tuesday.
De Niro, a New Yorker, called Trump a “clown” whose presidency could be dangerous for Americans.
“Donald Trump wants to destroy not only the city but the country and eventually, he could destroy the world,” De Niro said.“
De Niro took pains to explain that he by no means meant to denigrate clowns, whom he stated were gladly tolerated by the city as part of it its culture… just not those who believed they should rule over our country to disastrous results.
