It goes without saying that Donald Trump is not a detail oriented kinda guy. He just gets up in front of the camera and bloviates and so of course, when what he says is analyzed, he ends up looking like the fool he is. Trump’s contention is that Justice Juan Merchan “hates” him and is biased. The actual court transcript reveals that Merchan has been painstaking in being fair to Trump. He’s clearly trying to avoid any indication of bias (this is not the Kyle Rittenhouse trial) and he’s doing everything by the book. Despite Merchan being a decent man and doing his job properly, Trump saw fit to take a crack at the judge’s place of birth as a means of explaining the non-existent rancor that Trump imagines exists.
same thing Trump said about the Judge in the Trump University case in San Diego (?).

“Take a look at him.” Oh, man. But this is Trump. What else can you expect. And yes, this brings up memories of the “so-called judge” that Trump called “a Mexican” when the man was in fact born in Indiana. This is from 2018.
The strange collective reality show the country continues to live in during the Trump administration took an unexpected and odd turn Tuesday.
The Indiana-born federal judge who President Donald Trump once said could not be impartial because he was “Mexican” cleared a major obstacle standing in the way of Trump’s long-promised border wall with Mexico. Read more about his 100-page order Tuesday that the current administration, like administrations before it, can waive environmental laws.
The judge, Gonzalo Curiel, first entered the Trump political story long before the President came to the White House, back when Curiel got a class-action lawsuit concerning students who said they had been defrauded by Trump University. The case was ultimately settled after Trump won the White House.
Trump said Curiel was not going to be impartial because he was “Mexican.” Curiel works in the Southern District of California but was born in Indiana.
Trump’s attacks on Curiel weren’t a one-off thing, either. They were repeated and sustained and mean. “I have a judge who is a hater of Donald Trump, a hater. He’s a hater,” Trump said in San Diego in May of 2016, kicking off the controversy.
Judge Curiel was a “hater” and Justice Merchan “hates” Trump and all of this is due to Joe Biden’s enmity, of course. That’s the conspiracy theory, that a weaponized DOJ is doing all of this, when in fact a grand jury in New York found cause to indict and Trump is now being tried by a jury of his peers, according to the book. Nothing unusual is taking place here.
But that’s not how it’s spun to MAGA. Which brings us, once again, to the key question: How stupid is America? We know America has been dumbed down since the 80’s. We know the educational system has gone to hell since then. We know that television plays an inordinate role in American life and has since its inception. We know that Fox News has been poisoning the airwaves with propaganda for over a quarter of a century, same with right-wing radio.
All these factors have led to an environment where a creature like Trump could gain traction in the first place. Couple that with the disintegration of the Republican party for the past forty years, and you see how this improbable clown show has come to pass.
And again I note, it is incomprehensible to me that Trump is ostensibly gaining with the Latino vote when he openly insults people of that heritage — except for Aileen Cannon of course. Aye, there’s the rub. Cannon is also Colombian-born but you won’t hear one word of criticism of her. No, she’s totally fine, she’s a real Amurikkkan. Only men and women who disagree with Trump and happen to have some Hispanic ethnicity are labeled “haters.”
We have never had an election this black and white before. If America is still the country that we were all born in, the “land of the free and the home of the brave” then this unspeakable buffoon will be soundly routed at the ballot box and sent into political oblivion. if not, and he’s reelected to a second term, game over. We will be a banana republic and an autocratic state in short order. I don’t even want to think about that possibility.

I’ll consider dying, holding a gun, before I’ll live in a country run by a nazi toddler. Those red hats are easy targets. After all he’s already promised to lock me up in a concentration camp and give the oil companies the green light to finish destroying the planet killing my children’s future.
I’d rather be a free man in my grave than live as a puppet or a slave. Jimmy Cliff
If worst comes to worst and Trump wins like you I say the motherf**king MAGA goons are going to learn even this fat old disabled jarhead is going to take a lot of killing. The more they send for me the merrier. I intend to go to hell in a crowd. Given the number of times in my life I’ve cheated death, have survived situations that should have had me dead and buried long ago I figure I’ve got one last good fight in me. If they come for me and with enough people that my time on this earth will be up, I’m quite certain I can last long enough to make quite a few Trumpkins sorry they chose to come after me.
It is appalling beyond belief that we’re even having these conversations. But then look at yesterday’s news: a presumptive nominee claimed that the sitting president asked the DOJ and FBI to assassinate him — and this is now “normal.” This is where we are.
And these polls disgust me. If Trump is *leading* in Nevada, it’s all rural areas. Not in Clark County or Reno or Sparks or other locales I could name.
I sincerely hope that it doesn’t come down to a lot of boomers (and Americans of all ages) doing a Custer’s Last Stand kind of thing. I don’t want any more blood spilled over this MAGA reign than has already been. January 6 was a wake up call. If right-thinking Americans can vote for that bum post January 6, then there is no hope for us.
I hate confrontation but love to fight once the fisticuffs start going. I also hate “backing down”… which also explains lack of jail and prison time (and not bad for a “darkie”). My late brother always told me “don’t talk about it (doing violent acts)… but do it!” Hope I haven’t given the secret sauce to brain dead maga🤦🏻♂️. Or as Mike Tyson says… good plan until you get hit. Ps: too old for stoopid 💩… but still got one good fight in me.
How stupid is America? Ursula, humans are destroying the planet they need to survive so to say that humans are one of the dumber species on the planet is an incredible understatement. Americans are the stupidest humans on the planet. So, pretty f*cking stupid.
