There is a silver lining to every cloud. Last week we had the worst meltdown in the Capitol since a congressman decided to cane a senator into unconsciousness take place in the House. Mercifully, this fracas wasn’t physical, only emotional, but it was intense. It was the blow out that happens in dysfunctional groups when members of the group hate each others’ guts for some reason.

Marjorie Taylor Greene criticized Jasmine Crockett’s eyelashes, out of the blue, and that led to a blow up, when Crockett asked James Comer for clarification whether “bleach blonde bad built butch body” would be considered a personal attack. Comer sat there and looked like a character I once saw on the Outer Limits, where he was told that if he ever was trapped in a situation he didn’t want to be in, that the aliens would immediately transport him out of that situation and to a distant planet to wage war. Unfortunately for Comer, he remained in his seat. But the silver lining is this little ditty, shared by Jared Moskowitz.

And here’s another gem that MAGAs should love. My favorite line is how “they can’t put food on the table” because they’re too busy sending *billionaire* Trump donations.

Here is their cult hero making an ass of himself, just yesterday.

America is a family of 330,000,000 members. Some of us are very mentally ill. I predict that hundreds of years from now, possibly even thousands, people will still be looking at these tapes and wondering, “What happened? How did America get to this place?”

  1. “What happened? How did America get to this place?”

Gerrymandering and interference in the whole democratic governing government process by selfish, miserly, morbidly rich people who put their own wealth and the accumulation of it ahead of any other interests.

    Or to put it simply.

    Money.

  3. concinnity…True. It didnt help to spend 248 years talking about equality, justice, God, etc. while not walking the walk. Institutionalized hypocrisy has done its damage to the truth/reality of our history.
