Donald Trump loves to run his mouth like the drunk down at the end of the bar, but unfortunately he’s not the drunk at the end of the bar. He’s the presumed GOP nominee for president of the United States in 2024. And Joe Biden, whom he uses as his punching bag, and blames as the progenitor of all that ails Trump, is the sitting president of this country. And it is illegal to talk about killing the president of the United States, even if you don’t mean it, as Clint Eastwood once pointed out in a movie, to a guy who also rain his mouth indiscriminately.
Trump finally managed to get on stage, almost two and a half hours late, in Dallas last night, at the NRA convention. He spewed his usual venom but then he called Joe Biden “the Manchurian candidate,” claiming that Biden has accepted money from Russia, China and Ukraine. Then he said, “If that were a Republican, he would have been given the electric chair, they would have brought back the death penalty.” No, not at all, Donald. It’s okay if you’re a Republican. Trust us on this one. This comment pretty much flew under the radar but was challenged by a panel on Sunday morning.
And this is not the first time at this particular rodeo. Back in 2016 Trump made the ghastly comment that “maybe the Second Amendment people would do something,” with respect to Hillary.
Every single time Trump does one of these gaffes the bar for our national discourse drops even lower. He’s exciting the lunatic fringe. There was a case recently of a man being arrested for threatening to publicly behead Joe Biden.
Jordan Gee, 37, of Nanticoke, Pennsylvania, was charged with three felony counts of threats against the president and one count of interstate threats, the department said in a news release.
Federal prosecutors allege that Gee uploaded several threatening videos online ahead of Biden’s campaign visit to Scranton last month. According to the federal indictment, Gee made remarks like “Joe Biden: I’m going to kill you and your whole cabinet” and “If you come to my city in Scranton, Pennsylvania, I’m cutting your fucking head off in front of everybody; I promise.”
Gee faces up to 20 years behind bars on the charges. He remains jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility, with an arraignment set for later this month.
He is separately facing charges of retail theft and resisting arrest in an unrelated case, according to the Wilkes-Barre Times Leader. Police said Gee tried to steal a bag of coffee at a coffee shop and got into an altercation with officers on the scene.
Hillary called them “the deplorables” the rest of us call these people degenerates and MAGAts. This is the cult of Trump. He provokes the lowest of low life to form violent images against people in power, or to even carry out violence against people in power — or their spouses. You recall that Paul Pelosi’s attacker, David DePape, was sentenced to 30 years in prison, although that sentence may be revised and reduced.
You remember Trump’s American Carnage inaugural speech. It was a speech of darkness and despair. All was lost, Trump stood there and proclaimed, and he alone would fix it. Things were far from lost, after eight robust years under Obama. Trump inherited a booming economy, which he took credit for and then tanked by mismanaging COVID.
We can’t afford another four years of this lunatic. And lunatic he is. He is literally making threats and innuendos against a sitting president that would land other people in jail or at the very least on the receiving end of an FBI or Secret Service investigation.
MAGA is the lowest common denominator in America because that’s what Trump appeals to. Again, I share the best description of the man I’ve ever heard, “It’s almost impossible to believe he exists. It’s as if you took everything that was bad about America, scraped it off the floor, stuffed it in an old hot dog skin and taught it to make noises with its face.” It’s no doubt that MAGA would be happy to assassinate Biden if they could. That’s their mentality, that this is war, and Biden is the commanding officer of an enemy army. They are that nuts.
We need to get post-Trump and post-MAGA for this to settle down and for some kind of neo conservative party to arise. I see no other options.
IF the mango moron is “signaling” the NRA to perform an assassination of the freely and fairly elected President of the United States, his life will not be worth a tinker’s damn. Even IF he is not hunted down and prosecuted by our DoJ (I say “hunted” because an assassination attempt will scare him into some real Vonshitsinpants reactions including running and hiding in another country (russia)), he WILL be hunted down by someone who actually thinks our nation, constitution, and institutions are worth protecting and he most certainly is NOT worth protecting.
The one thing dingle berry and his cult forget is that our Vice President of the United States is a former PROSECUTOR. She knows how to go after criminal fucks like trump and I’m pretty fucking certain she won’t hesitate to go after the one who incited others to commit murder. She KNOWS this shit way the hell better than garland, barr, or quite frankly better than pretty much any A.G. of DoJ in…history really.

The overwhelming majority of MAGAts are too freaking stupid to know “Have none of you the courage I lack? Will no one rid me of this meddlesome priest?” but it only takes one. And I have zero doubt Trump hopes that among the small number of his followers that can pick up on his hint there’s someone with the resolve and or skill to do what he wants
