It must be a total bummer to plan a theatrical event, a sight gag, and then have it fizzle at the moment of climactic execution, if you will. One could call such an event “impotent.” A group of MAGAs decided that they would make a statement in New York City today with pink foil penises. On them are the names and faces of Donald Trump’s *enemies* i.e., the prosecutors and judges he doesn’t like.

The infrastructure of Twitter is challenged in this day and age. I hear this from people with big accounts. In any event, as you see, the phallic symbols have different faces and names of Trump’s enemies. This is MAGA at its best, sophomoric and juvenile. And children are learning wonderful lessons from political figures, that people in Congress call each other names and insult each other at work and that one of the guys running for president this year has allies who come out and make vulgar displays like this in the streets.
This is America in 2024. Heaven help anybody growing up at this time. Each generation deals with its own issues. The WWII generation had their travails, the Vietnam generation had its challenges, now there are people coming of age in the Era of Trump and I hope they make the right decision and vote for an actual leader who will keep democracy running, as opposed to a fascist who will destroy our way of life.
I guess we’ll find out soon enough.

Will be music to our ears as youngsters, who have been too busy thrilling themselves with the latest music group or iconic blue-eyed blonds, come of an age to begin adulthood …
