I never thought that a session of the House would ever have to be rated for parental guidance but it has finally come down to that. It’s not a question of nudity — although we have seen nudes introduced on the House floor by the person who started tonight’s ruckus — or profanity or the like, but plain incivility. I would not want young children, if I had any of my own at this time in history, to view adults behaving this way. This is not leadership. This is not governance. This is plain ugly. And who started it? The most ugly member of Congress, inside and out, Marjorie Taylor Greene. (The tape has been edited to provide continuity.)

This is beyond the pale. This is what MAGA hath wrought. These people hate one another. And I don’t blame Crockett or AOC. I hate Marge Greene as well. I hate Lauren Boebert. I hate their ignorance and their pomposity and their sense of entitlement.
And as I say all that, I search for a solution. I don’t blame Jasmine Crockett for what she said because Greene is insane to have started dissing Crockett’s eyelashes. She did that out of the blue and out of a mean spirit. If Crockett would have kept her mouth shut it would have been tantamount to accepting Greene’s insult. Silence is deemed acceptance. Unfortunate but true.
Greene refusing to apologize is Greene plainly declaring that she is there to stir up the shit. She wants to insult people. She won’t apologize because that’s her sociopathic kick, that she gets to publicly insult people, out of the blue, and she “gets away with it.” I’m sure you remember the British reporter who Greene told to “fuck off” when the woman asked her about Jewish space lasers.
Greene has mental problems. What she is doing is way beyond partisanship or advocacy or anything of that nature. I don’t have a degree in psychology but it’s plain to me that politics is Greene’s tool to work out some deep seated animosity towards humanity in general. Congress has always had its loonies. Louie Gohmert was there for quite a while talking about altering the orbit of the moon to effect climate change. Paul Gosar has been twitching and talking to neo-Nazis for years.
But things are changing. Now it’s all getting personal. Clay Higgins called Juan Merchan an ass-hat on social media a few days ago. This fracas tonight started because Greene asked who in the chamber was employing Judge Merchan’s daughter. This is getting out of hand precisely because it’s getting personal. Donald Trump’s trial is his issue and it’s being tried in the proper venue. The House floor is not the proper venue to run a concurrent trial.
Marge Greene seems to have decided that she’s going to wage a one-woman war on the Democratic party and that’s insane. Everybody in that chamber is an elected official. They are deserving of common courtesy such as any one of us would give one another in the workplace.
Greene is drunk on power. She knows she’s from a solid red district, she feels she’s bulletproof. That’s why she throws her weight around, because she can. And maybe Georgia likes this and her district will keep sending her back. Then, if that’s the case, then Mike Johnson needs to censure her or something needs to happen.
Because Jasmine Crockett is right. The GOP is letting Marge run wild and enabling her, like a lot of families let a mentally ill member run wild. And Crockett doesn’t have to put up with it. And make no mistake, there’s some racial tension going on here and I, for one, am completely with Crockett. She does not have to take that level of shit from that bleach blonde racist bimbo from Georgia.
Even James Comer knew what Greene was doing and you can see it in his face, he’s not happy with it. But Greene will keep on going, like the racist, misanthropic Energizer bunny that she is. Greene knows no bounds.
If Trump was any kind of a leader at all, and we know what a joke that is, he would put a stop to this. What happened in the House tonight was very, very, very bad. Wait for this to go sky high with a mushroom cloud. This was one for the books.
First of all, the judge’s daughter is not the judge, nor does she influence the court. Nor does she rule on anything in the court. Nor does she work for the court. She who cares who employs her or her company? And then there begs the question, what exactly has the republican party done in the last eight years? Anything besides obstruction, name calling, idiotic investigations, numerous attempts to impeach our President, entering porn into official proceedings, etc.? Does anyone know what they do or have even actually done? Anyone?
Another thing, you could all but see the eye roll on comer’s face when Ms Crockett spoke up. Unacceptable.
They’ve been trolling and pushing conspiracy theory all this time. That’s what they know how to do, that’s what they’re good at. And basically, everybody is used to that from MTG. Where she really crossed the line is that she attacked Crockett out of the freaking blue. Whatever Greene’s point was, she could have made it without launching an attack.
And then telling AOC she didn’t have “the intelligence” to debate her? AOC is lightyears beyond Marge intellectually. I think Marge can’t handle these brilliant, attractive young female POCs. I think it may be as basic as that. Marge has problems, if that’s the case. There will always be young, sharp people coming up. That’s life.

The problem with Marge is she doesn’t seem to understand that she’s attacking actual people. To her, everybody is a cardboard cutout, representing the Deep State, and all that. She would never talk to anybody at her gym that way — I assume. You can’t do business with people like that.

MTG is #2 that I hate to hear about or from. They are equally stupid racist block heads. This is all Trump’s doing. We had plenty of loonies before, as I said, but we never had this level of street fight in the House. That’s Marge’s level. If she’s not attacking Mike Johnson, which is pure idiocy, she’s attacking somebody else. And Jasmine Crockett’s crime was what, she does her eye makeup in a manner which doesn’t suit Marge? The woman is barking mad.
Senator Charles Sumner was nearly beaten to death by a representative from South Carolina, Preston Brooks. Brooks was tried for assault and fined 300 dollars.
And just so we don’t get confused by party labels – in 1856, what was then the Democrats are what eventually morphed into and became a solid pillar of the current Republican Party. The so-called Dixicrats. I believe it was LBJ who ripped that bandaid off and laid bare the chasm between Kennedy Democrats and those in the south who then shifted to the Republican Party.
Is it as special as I see it? The looney’s in Congress seem to have autographed red hats at home on a hook in the back wall of their hall closets?
Dead set on producing chaos and nothing else? Trump has a proven record of doing virtually NOTHING for the USA, or, “common citizens”, ONLY HIMSELF …

The billionaires built the GOP up to fight the restrictions, rules and safety needs of industry, moving the manufacturing and tooling to China and other countries like Mexico to get past pollution problems and the expense of trained quality workers doing their best work without being whipped and prodded or threatened to make needed quantities with marginal quality …
