This is one time I’m actually glad that cameras aren’t on in the courtroom because this would be yet another instance of misbehavior by adults that parents would seek to explain to their children is not normal. It was pointed out last week in an article about Barron Trump that young adults turning 18 this year and able to vote for the first time have observed this singularity that we call the Trump Phenomenon for fully half of their lives. To them it is normal, just like the TV set was normal to kids of my generation. Yes, we were told that things were different before TV, that radio and the movie houses once ruled, but it was difficult to imagine. And I’m sure the youngsters of today, coming of age in the Era of Trump, find it hard to believe that politics was any other way.
Today in court Alina Habba showed up along with the other MAGA faithfuls who have decided that their paychecks are best earned by skipping their photo ops in Washington and doing a photo op in New York for their Mango Messiah. Here is what occurred.
There you have it. Again, I’m glad I’m not a young parent trying to explain to a child why an adult woman, a lawyer to somebody who used to be president of the United States, gets to behave in such a manner that would get her called to the principal’s office if she did it enough. This is sociopathic and unprofessional behavior, on display in a court of law, no less, by an officer of the court to another office of the court.
Maybe the Rules Of Professional Responsibility need to be amended to state that: “No member of the Bar may approach another member of the Bar and give him or her dirty looks, or disrespect or publicly antagonize the person in any way.” It seems pretty basic that you wouldn’t have to tell that to an adult, let alone a lawyer, but clearly it is not.
What is tragic about America right now is that this mess has been going on for nine years. Our mental landscape has changed along with our political landscape. We are not the same country. And our children have witnessed a lot of ugliness that it would have been best if they were sheltered from.
Our cultural standards have plummeted in the Era of Trump. Thank you, Party Of Family Values. We are all now stuck with picking up the tab. How do we rehab the country post-Trump? As I’ve said before, a pickle never goes back to being a cucumber. I see no way that the pre-Trump world is ever going to return. We are going to be forever marred.
The only advantage to this situation that I see is that now we know, in no uncertain terms, how fascism can happen here. And that’s something we need to guard against. You may have seen this clip before. It illustrates the similarities between the Third Reich and MAGA. If the good news turns out to be that the Era of Trump has taught us to be ever vigilant against fascism, then at least there is a silver lining.
It has happened here, merely in a different degree. And it could happen again and worse. That’s the horror and that’s the lesson.

Somehow I don’t think Conway was the least bit intimidated. Hell, I wished he’d have laughed at her. That would have been quite the moment!
Maybe he should have told her that he likes her new “kidneys”. That would have sent her into a boiling rage and given him a good laugh as well.
I can’t wait to hear Conway’s side of the story.
I watch him regularly on The Bulwark YouTube channel
I’m pretty sure I know what it was, George was on MSNBC a night or two ago maybe Ari Melbourne’s show not sure, George called Trump out I don’t remember about what now but he also called him a wuss or a wussy 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
My, my, my. The dumb rhymes with hunt habba doesn’t look so pretty now. Not pretty and stupid is a REAL piss-poor way to go through life. lmao
