This just broke on MSNBC. There have been two distinct numbers going around for the last hour or so. $355 million and $364 million. It’s easily explained. In the ruling Judge Engoron dinged Traitor T9ot for $355 million, he dented Dipsh*t Donnie redux for $7 million, squirrely Eric got nicked for $3.5 million, and Allan Weisselberg is on the hook for $1 million. Clean and simple.
Except for the fact that NY Attorney General Letitia James press office just released a statement. And in that statement she took credit for roughing El Pendejo Presidente up for some $450 million in the ruling. Where in the hell did that extra $100 million spring up all of a sudden?
In New York state civil rulings come with an automatic interest penalty to try to speed up the process. In the process of assigning penalties, Judge Engoron divided Trump’s myriad of scam sins into 3 big buckets. Each has a different starting date for the accumulation of interest. The current interest rate in New York state is 9%. And when you add that $364 million together, then slap on the interest charges from the three buckets, it tops out at $450 million.
Ohhh, I’m just getting started on this Wookie stomp. When getting one of those surety bond thingy’s in New York state, the bond amount is for the total monetary damages, which includes interest. And in New York state, to enforce compliance, the surety bond amount must be 120% of the total damages. And what is 120% of $450 million? By my count, is $540 million. Interest and the compliance 20% adds a whopping $180 million to Trump’s surety bond bar tab.
But wait! There’s MORE! In case you’ve forgotten, the E Jean Carroll suit was also a civil trial held in New York. At the moment Trump us on the hook for $88.5 million. Even before you tack on interest, and I’m sure the judge did, the extra 20% alone tacks on another $19 million. Trump’s surety bond in that case will likely be more like $120 million. And the 30 day timer to come up with that horse choker is already ticking. Don’t touch that dial.

I feel exactly the same way and I have the same worries about being cheated on the water bill. You’re preaching to the choir. But no, I don’t owe half a billion dollars to anybody. Poor Fred Trump is twirling in his grave. This idiot had more money than most A-list movie stars just given to him — and he SQUANDERED it! It’s beyond belief. But yes, let’s give him access to the public coffers. The RNC is also quiet on this subject, I have observed.

The man HAD to know what kind of son he was raising (by all accounts, he was a real piece of $#!+ himself) and he did live long enough to see how Donald was turning out. If Fred really was the business magnate he thought he was, then he bears responsibility for Donald’s “squandering” the family’s fortune.
Actually, when I see your name, I smile and think of a fundamentally nice and good human being with whom I sometimes enjoy arguing publicly. But sadly, don’t sweat the water bills too much yet, because trust me, they are ONLY going to go up! Soon enough our species will realize clean water is a VERY diminishing resource, like helium. Only we don’t NEED helium.
