You’ve been promised the wildest election year in the history of this republic and you will assuredly get just that. There is a confluence of factors, all taking place simultaneously, like some political harmonic convergence conceived either in Heaven or Hell. That part we’re not sure of, we just know that many cosmic forces are involved.
Donald Trump is not well. That’s more than a recurring trending hash tag on Twitter, it’s the simple state of things. He’s not well mentally and he’s not well physically. He’s also simultaneously attempting to run for president while juggling four criminal indictments and having just lost a substantial civil judgment in favor of the woman he raped and then defamed. Quite a character. Take a look, once again, at the way he moves.
Dragging that right leg again.

Here’s a dementia tutorial, are you ready class?
If Dementia & reading this, it's gonna be a rough year for everyone.

Now if somebody can explain to me how anybody in Trump’s orbit, and I mean any body, can avoid number 5, “don’t bring up topics that may upset them,” I assure you I am all ears. It won’t be Alina Habba, that’s a verity. “Um….Mr. President? Sir, here’s another letter from the law firm you interviewed with the other day. No, Sir, they don’t want the appellate job either. Yes, I told them that they were needed to Make America Great Again and keep the greatest president ever in American history from peril, but they just laughed and hung up on me.” (CRASH…splatter….ketchup runs down the walls, as Habba cringes in the corner and cries out, “And you owe me for ANOTHER pair of shoes.” CRASH again….)

So, what do we have here? (And you don’t need an M.D. behind your name to see it.)
- Someone morbidly obese, who drags a leg;
- Somebody who believes he ran against Barack Obama and not Hillary Clinton in 2016;
- Somebody who is confused about WWII and WWIII;
- Somebody who conflates a cognitive exam with the Mensa test;
- An emotional 7-year-old in a 77-year-old body;
- Someone under 91 felony counts and indictments in four jurisdictions;
- Somebody who was assessed an $83.3 million fine the other day and is looking at another possible $370 million fine (or more) as early as Monday;
- Somebody who Fox News reports is wanted as the next president by only 38% of the people.

And last but not least, somebody who believes he looks just like Elvis Presley — in The King’s heyday, not at the end.
Put all these factors together, add to the fact the reality that Joe Biden’s economy is booming, the stock market is breaking records, unemployment remains down, and Biden’s win in South Carolina was almost 30 points higher than was predicted, and it doesn’t look like Donald Trump has a very rosy future, now does it?
Personally, I’m paying a lot of attention to the dementia experts and there are those in that group who say that Trump won’t make it until November in the condition he’s in.
The Trump you see at rallies is girdled, made up, sprayed, cologned, and more importantly, chemically jacked up. The ruddy mess you see stumbling around, leading on a golf club for support, is the real thing.
Let’s see what happens. It is only February. Monday is the 5th. Let’s see if Judge Arthur Engoron will render a verdict, or if he’s still tied up looking at special monitor Barbara Jones’ revelation of a $48 million “loan” that actually was income — and taxes were never paid on it.
As stated a few days ago when that story broke, Trump identifies with Al Capone as a soulmate, and that may in fact be the case. Scarface got done in by income tax evasion (and syphilis) and Trump may follow suit.

There’s also somebody who claims he was exonerated by a Georgia Grand Jury and also exonerated of sexual abuse in another trial
He moves the way he does because he is old. Not sure what is up with his leg but I do the same with mine–it is broken however so I guess I have somewhat of an excuse. Last time I saw President Biden moving about he was going slowly as well–again, he’s old. I’m not sure pointing a finger at dingleberry is a good thing given that same finger can be pointed at President Biden. Sometimes I watch our President and it seems he moves very, very carefully. Kind of like he’s afraid of falling. Late seventies for one, 80 for the other: guess it comes with the territory.
That sounds a little like ageism spike. I’m almost 71…walk at least 3-4 miles DAILY…can run it if I want. Work out with weights 3x week…am 5’11” tall and weigh 158lbs…still play on the jungle gym with my adopted 7 year old and have more muscle than fat. I’ve exercised daily my entire life. I work with a guy who’s almost 95 who was walking 2x day until 6 months ago. His confusion has increased since then but he is still active. Don’t forget genetics and lifestyle factor in. Funny how the young plan to get old but denigrate ALL people who are old…oh yeah the lady that swam 90 MILES ACROSS THE OCEAN TO CUBA WAS 60!!!! Can you do that? The difference between a fat old man who is and has been lazy with a bad diet and Biden is IMMENSE!
Agree totally with you Scott. This one has irked me no end. It’s not specifically age, it is more to do with many other factors, as you say so well here, and to include genetics, self-care, attitude and spirit. Had a great-grandmother who lived to be 105, wouldn’t ever speak English, but instead held to her Irish language, was feisty and could curse like a sailor in Irish, didn’t touch a vegetable if it didn’t touch her, smoked like a chimney and didn’t agree with anyone or anything.
The whole let’s pick on old people is to my mind among the last of the “isms” that remain, if not totally acceptable, at least tolerated. Well, maybe not entirely now I think on it–crikey but we’re awash in misogyny and sexism, racism, Arab-racism, ethnocentrism, anti-semitism, feel free to add on.
Are you actually comparing Biden’s physical capability to Trump’s? Quit drinking the kool-aid.
I’m going with late-stage syphilis, where organs like the heart, brain and peripheral nervous system are attacked, and demyelination of the spinal cord commonly produces a motor disorder called tabes dorsalis. People at this stage find it difficult to sense the ground when they are walking and they develop a tabetic gait. Here’s a good description from Wikipedia:
“‘Tabetic gait’ is a characteristic ataxic gait of untreated syphilis where the person’s feet slap the ground as they strike the floor due to loss of proprioception. In daylight the person can avoid some unsteadiness by watching their own feet.”
Another related symptom is light sensitivity and vision loss, caused by disease of the nerves of the eyes, which might explain why he works in the dark (both literally and figuratively).
Given his lifestyle and propensity for sexual assault…it’s an interesting theory…Instant Karma anyone?
In medical parlance, syphilis was once known as the great masquerader, mimicking symptoms of many other diseases, mostly neurological. At one time, every hospital admission required testing for syphilis, but that testing and awareness of endemic syphilis has greatly diminished. IMO tRump has never been tested, and most likely his chosen physicians have never thought to do so.
Given his preference for Russian hookers, it wouldn’t surprise me to find out Putin deliberately supplied him with an infected one. Those sores on his hands aren’t from digging in the garden or any other hard work!
or have been forbidden to do so or discuss it.
Drumf will be in a orange jumpsuit in a padded prison cell soon!
Also, over 60% of peeps in Amerikkka live paycheck to paycheck, cannot afford even a $400 dollar emergency, have no healthcare (record bankruptcies from med debt), and overdoses at record levels. This is the biggest lie of all that the economy under any president since prob Eisenhower is booming. Minimum wage stands at a unsurvivable amt. Wealth inequity is off the charts with record profits staying in the upper 2%.
Biden is an old racist and now genocidal pile of SHIT.
Same as tge lot of them in politics.
Don’t come back here again. If you do, you will be banned. Joe Biden is not “an old racist and now genocidal pile of SHIT.”
Go over to Breitbart, where you belong.
Thank you. Name calling with no facts to back it up is evil. Cabal hates Biden because the President is trying yo find his,way through a political minefield in the current Hamas/Israel conflict. Netanyahu needs to go,,as does Hamas.n plenty of blood on many hands. I support Israel’s right to exist and despise Hamas terrorism ( like Hitler, they place their tunnels and terrorism factories I. civilian neighborhoods, guaranteeing large numbers of civilian casualties),but consider Netanyahu to be part of the problem, incapable of being part of the solution. He needs to go, before there can be a good for piece.
I kinda have a dog in this hunt. My paternal grandmother was Jewish, from.a family who escaped to America from.Russian pogroms. I want Israel to succeed, but I think it fear the nation to become more, not less, secular, with a change in the constitution that goes civil marriage away from the ultra- Orthodox types, who can have their say about ultra-Orthodox law on divorce and remarriage,but only for their sect.Geez, even Italy has done so.
Name calling is the first place magats go to when you hit them with facts. Hard right Israelis have been the problem there ever since Bebe was elected, I can’t believe that the majority of Jews there think it’s right to inflict so much violence onto Palestinians. I find it suspicious that the first people targeted by Hamas were the young peaceniks, the very ones most antagonistic to Netanyahu.
Something I’d thought about (here and there) for a while and your comment, “dementia experts and there are those in that group who say that Trump won’t make it until November in the condition he’s in,” reminded me, namely: when Trump dies, what funeral arrangements will be made/done? On one hand, we can’t honor the man, but, on the other hand, we have to honor the officeholder….
Two things: I hope and pray I live long enough to see Trump die. Secondly, due to the already existing controversy, coupled with the fact that we don’t know how this story ends, it’s too soon to speak of such things.
I think that we’re just going to have to wait and see if he gets convicted, what happens.
Considering the subject and the “record” of his “administration”, lowering all American Flags to half-mast at noon on the day of his funeral long enough for the playing of Taps, then returning the flags to normal and segueing into “Happy Days Are Here Again” seems appropriate to me….
😏😏😏😏😏
5. An emotional 2-year-old in a 77-year-old body;
There, fixed that for ya!
Love that this article had input from Ron Filipkowski, who is the senior producer for Meidas Touch Network and a highly respected fellow.
Re dragging his leg? Not a doc but science trained and it looks like a companion to the confusion, language difficulties, repetitive phrasing as well as the troubles he is having with putting together coherent thoughts. Stroke in the works? Quite possibly. Dementia? Again, possibly. Hardening of the arteries? Ditto.
Were he merely dragging a leg and not exhibiting the many language- and thought process issues, it could simply be a sore knee or a wonky hip, or maybe even sciatica.
Regarding the topic of ageism as Scott talks about? You bet. Why is any- and everything related to Biden to do with his age and yet the other guy is having daily meltdowns that from an observational perspective have to do with his health and let’s connect the dots, to his age, but the focus shifts in a NY minute to Biden.
I wonder if he could be suffering from an Alzheimer “sun setting” problem? If he’s making those confused speeches in the evening, that could be why he’s making those big mistakes. He looked very confused and unwell in the one where he mixed up Haley with Pelosi.
Whatever the medical reason for his mental decline is, I’m pretty sure all the stresses on him-both mental and physical will only accelerate the decline.
He has had some kind of event that has affected his brain, that’s exactly how I dragged my foot after having a stroke (before getting therapy). And I did trip over that foot a few times, so he needs to drop out of running and get some help before he goes head first down a flight of stairs.
Maybe he’s like his first wife, Ivana, and just wants to ignore it all. I couldn’t believe Ivana didn’t want to get a hip operation. I had one and it was so effortless and I walk beautifully now. Before the operation it was agony just to move around the house normally. But I read several credible sources that reported that she was in pain but didn’t want the operation.
Maybe to her it symbolized old age or something. She was one of those people who insisted on dressing in mini skirts and what have you even when she got older and that style looked absurd. I guess some people really can’t handle that aging is normal and enjoy the benefits of aging. The benefits, as I see it, is I clearly understand things that used to baffle me about people and life as a younger person. A lot of things make sense after you’ve lived sixty, seventy or more years.
Truer words were never spoken! I used to fear aging, but now that I’m here and have accepted the limitations I’m happier and more relaxed than ever! I hate seeing all the ageism…with so many saying if you’re old you can’t be capable of anything useful anymore. I love seeing Biden running rings around them all, he is a wise old fox. Anyway, learning to live with getting old sure beats the alternative!
JeanniK: HAH, like THAT’S ever going to happen…..
I mean, for Drumpfenstein to do what JenniK did, pay attention to the warning signs, seek medical help, take the recommended actions and adapt to the necessary lifestyle changes, is certainly not on his “to do” list.
To paraphrase Clint Eastwood as Harry Callahan in “Magnum Force”, (one) has to know their limitations…..
