As I’m sure you know, “Justice” Clarence Thomas has become infamous for taking gobs of money and gifts, hugely expensive vacations especially from uber rich conservatives. (One in particular) Ok, so Thomas was already infamous before the revelations of his and wife Ginni’s eagly lapping up money from “sugar daddies” with business brewing that SCOTUS. Thomas has people he needs to keep happy, and it just so happens both he and wife Ginni need to keep Trump happy. That’s where this joke on twitter going viral comes in. Using Trump’s getting whacked for $83 million bucks inspired Heather Thomas to post this:
E. Jean Carroll is making so much money off of Trump, Clarence Thomas wants to vacation with her. pic.twitter.com/VQmZXgz9X3

As the late Chris Farley playing Tommy Boy would say “That’s gonna leave a mark!” On both Thomas AND Trump. Keep in mind Thomas has his own sordid history of sexual misconduct, although so far as we know no won has said he raped or sexually assaulted them. (Makes me wonder though) Now of course it IS a joke. Carroll wouldn’t want to be in the same zip code as Thomas or his equally corrupt wife Ginni any more than she ever wants to be anywhere near Trump ever again. Still, the thought of Carroll seeing this tweet and abandoning her grace and class for a good cause and sending Thomas a prepaid gift VISA card with a “have lunch on me on your next vacation” makes me smile.
So does the thought of how the GOP would twist itself into knots to try and claim Biden is laundering money through Carroll too…What? Get a favor from Trump? The poor dears would try and THAT would be truly hilarious.
Still despite the humor in the article by 2paragraphs I got this from there’s something both serious and newsworthy. Actual ethics (or lack thereof) stuff that begs for scrutiny. Former WH doctor and then and current Trump fluffer Ronny Jackson left actual receipts back in his “Dr. Pez” (if you’re old enough you remember those candy dispensers) days. The article references efforts by Senator Sheldon Whithouse and Congressman Jamie Raskin to hold those who violate government ethics (like Jacson) to account:
The accusations run from the influence-peddling scandals like Trump aide (and son-in-law) Jared Kushner‘s $2 billion post-presidency Saudi fund take and quid pro quo accusations that saw the Supreme Court issue a new set of ethics guidelines for SCOTUS justices, to the myriad criminal charges against Trump himself to, most recently, the revelation that the Trump White House doubled as an alleged pill mill under Dr. Ronny Jackson, now a U.S. Congressman.
I mentioned receipts. Check this out:
FENTANYL, MORPHINE & KETAMINE??!!
Who in Donald Trump's White House was WH doctor (and drug dealer) @RonnyJacksonTX writing these prescriptions for??
And a reminder @RonnyJacksonTX is now a serving Republican Congress member.
