You know the hoary old cliche, “The attorney who represents himself has a fool for a client.” What about the attorney who represents a client whose hubris is legendary and who has the same defect of character himself? Doesn’t that make for a pair of fools in court?
It would certainly seem so. Glenn Kirschner unearthed a jewel of John Lauro’s that I haven’t heard anybody else discuss yet. We are so deluged with a bandwidth of news and commentary so wide that even some great moments are overlooked. Listen to what Kirshner has to say. I didn’t know until I heard this how far out there Lauro was.

Isn’t that remarkable? And Lauro knows he’s wrong, as Kirshner points out. He knows he’s full of it. But Trump’s paying him and Trump and the culture war is more important than legal ethics.
Just keep thinking that way, “Sport” and you’ll be joining the likes of Lin Wood, John Eastman, Rudy Giuliani, so on and so forth either in disbarment proceedings or even in criminal proceedings where your name will be on the pleadings in the box marked “Defendant.”

And all Trump wants is just one killer. Just one Roy Cohn. Here’s the irony of that: Cohn was quite the killer for that day and age, the 1950s, the Eisenhower Era, but that day is gone. Cohn might not actually be any better — today — than the clowns that Trump has found to replace him.

Lawrence O Donnell, on his program last night, pointed out this asshat altered a quote from Biden, out of context, to try to make the case this is a political hit job by Biden, IN HIS LEGAL FILING. I’m sure the judge is fine with being lied to by the attorney. If this was Cannonfoder, she’d go with it, but not this judge. Stay tuned for the beatdown.
Given the corruption in the s.c., this seems like a colossal waste of time. I cannot imagine the distrust of the s.c. doesn’t trickle down to the other courts in our country.
