I hope Mike Pence has security and I’ve said that before. He’s a sitting duck for Trump’s lunatic followers. I’m no fan of Pence, but I certainly don’t want to see him or any other presidential candidate or office holder, of either party, assassinated by MAGA. We don’t need to take a further downward descent in this madhouse culture that we’re in. But that said, things always get worse where Trump and MAGA are concerned and that’s a development that I fear.
Here’s Pence trying to reason with the unreasonable.
A dozen Trump supporters approached Mike Pence’s vehicle as he entered his Friday event yelling, “that’s a traitor,” “you’re a sellout,” and “why didn’t you uphold the constitution?”
“I upheld the constitution,” Pence shouted back.

I’m always inspired by stories of human redemption, but in so many ways this is too little too late. If Pence had taken this stance to begin with, he’d be in a different place and so would the country.
To quote Pence “History teaches us that weakness arouses evil …” Well, in that case, it’s a case of pot meet kettle, eh Mike.
These people use The Constitution like they use The Bible.
Something to hit other people with, and quote the tiny bits of they’ve been told.
But read it?
