The Marmalade Monarch proves once again that he’s neither a team player nor a Republican. One of the first rules of a primary is criticize your opponent but not overmuch because the same person you criticize today may be the one on the top of your ticket a few months hence. Trump could not care less. It’s all about him.

This doesn’t have the usual “Sir” and he’s not saying the donors had “tears in their eyes” but maybe that’s because they were on the phone.

Just by the by, here’s a picture that was posted an hour or so before the rally started. Remember, I said this place held 9,000 people.

Trump then talks about the 200 million people he’s being indicted for. I guess he figures those are the people who should vote for him. 158 million voted in 2020, conceivably 240 million could register and vote. So I guess he figures that 200 million should vote for him.

Plus, the rest of us aren’t getting indicted because we didn’t steal any documents, ask anybody to be fake electors, or incite a riot. Minor points, maybe, but I thought I’d make them.

The crowd boos when Mike Pence is mentioned, which only underscores what I’ve been saying all along (and I’m not the lone wolf in saying this) Pence has no constituency. Nobody wants him to be president. Even Chris Christie has had an easier time getting 40,000 Americans to send him a buck so he can qualify to debate. Pence is out there dancing for dimes and nobody notices.

Then it’s back to Fani Willis. If I had to bet money, I would bet that the call he got earlier today, which spawned the all-caps raving was about Georgia.

Now we go to what Chy-nuh is doing. He’s stopped talking about them sending us COVID or the giant checks he said he deposited in the treasury (“billions from Chy-nuh”) and now he’s worried about the “military…….places.” I think he was trying to think of the words “military bases” but it was a bit too intellectually challenging for him.

And of course this is all a ploy to take control of the news cycle.

Then Trump calls Joe Biden a “dumb son of a bitch.” Again, Trump is a low life and he has no respect for politics. He’s dragged down civility and decency in this country into the mud and set us at each other’s throats.

Those are the low lights. Expect this to be the boilerplate going forward.

  1. I don’t have a problem with him being indicted for me. He’s not being indicted to protect me, but rather to reinforce my belief in rule of law and democracy. Let him be a martyr for his shrinking base while he remains an emblem of everything wrong with this country for me.

    • He is indeed an emblem of everything wrong with this country. Obama said that. He said Trump wasn’t the problem, he was the symptom of the problem. There are a lot of people out there who hate and who want to burn it all down. So they decided to fall in line behind this wimp from Queens who talks tough but never worked a day in his life, basically. He would be a billionaire for real if he just didn’t squander so much of his inheritance.

      • Squander should be his middle name. He’s squandered everything – his money, his wives, his businesses, his reputation, EVERYTHING!

        • He’s a textbook study of what happens with inherited wealth. He’s called Cantaloupe Caligula and he’s like Caligula. Caligula thought it was comical to set fire to money, dissolve pearls and drink them and he wanted to make his horse a member of the Roman Senate. Somebody put a dagger in him one day in the Coliseum. They got sick of his waste when over people didn’t have enough to eat. Not saying that’s our solution, we’re a democracy, but I am saying I always understood why Caligula met that end. No respect for anyone or anything.

  2. To anger an honest man tell him a lie. To anger a narcissist like Trump, tell him the truth. And as you state “… There are a lot of people out there who hate … they decided to fall in line behind this wimp from Queens …” Voltaire got it right when he said “It is hard to free fools from the chains they revere” Obama is spot-on too, it’s symptomatic of the problem, and if good men don’t stand up to this evil tyrant and his adoring flock it’ll be be, as Plato said “The price good men pay for indifference to public affairs is to be ruled by evil men”.

    • The MAGAs are incredible. I just had a tiff on Twitter. Told a MAGA the actual facts of the economy, gas prices, inflation. And her parting shot to me was “You’re wrong.” No facts, just I’m wrong. So I gave it my best parting shot and said that the “orange tinted bum you worship wouldn’t spit on you if you were in the same room. And he uses all the donations to pay his legal bills.” The Washington Post just ran a story that Trump’s PAC spent $40 MILLION on Trump’s legal bills.

The MAGAs terrify me. This kind of willful blindness is simply unbelievable.

  3. “Trump complains that the Atlanta DA is focused on investigating him rather than dealing with crime”

Of course in the real world the rest of us live in, investigating him IS dealing with crime, and lots of it.

    • That was my first on his stupid comment … There IS a statement you see on shirts sometimes:
“You can’t fix stupid with duct tape, BUT you can quiet the BS …”

Trump has gone the way, ever since he crossed through the narrows of that box canyon he thought would become the stadium of his adoration, but he limped along with the the House Republicans playing games with Gym Jordon’s personal shit show of idiocy Oversight Committee, steering blame around Democrats with fake whistle blowers and false testimonies … While trying to avoid getting his junk in a wringer in Ohio for stupendous process of ignoring student’s claims about being molested by team doctor …

There is a whole list of Republican do-wrongs that need to be charged with everything from conspiracy down to damned annoying foot dragging in Congress … Some Stars come to mind … Gym Jordon, Rusty Gates, M.T.Green, McCarthyism, BoBart the waxed and polished grenade launcher, Lindsey Graham of the REALLY RED neck cult, bulging neck veins and all, when ranting about how badly someone is being treated, in a meeting where an obvious BEER MAN was being asked for details of his past to qualify him for our highest Court …

Of course, the worst of the worst, DJT has a family of guilty offspring as well, Don Junior, shows his tip-toe use of drugs, and a loud voice against anyone that would dare to attack papa … Eric and Don J. have been guilty of business crimes in Trump’s world of lies and actions against normal business practices and lies to the IRS …

Who knows , or suspects what was purchased by the World’s richest country from Jerod Kushner, was it some of the military secrets in the bathroom in Mar-o-Golf?

A massive chunk of cash, 2 Billion Dollars, or 2 thousand/million dollars was sent to the USA, Via Kushner … maybe enough cash to get Trump out of the US instead of prison?

That would predicate handing a few printed sheets to the Prince in Dubay, direct copies of Trump’s un-boxed info/intelligence reports on Dubay’s enemies …

  4. Phuck these nazis…the only response that worked was when we sent tens of thousands of BOYS with GUNS to Normandy with NO intent to try and reason with a magical mass murdering cult. FACT.

  5. maniacal not magical…goddamn phone programmers think they know better than me what word I was using. If you really want a good speech…rent Inglorious Basterds and watch Brad Pitt’s inspirational speech about nazis. How soon we forget.
