Better late than never is the salient phrase here. At last, a Trump voter wakes up and goes on C-Span to tell his tale of a sad awakening. He’s not the only person having this ephiphany. If only they had believed the Democrats and when I say “they” I mean primarily the people who believed that Trump was only going to deport the “dangerous criminals.” We see how that his worked out and Trump is dead in all the polls on his immigration policies. Some people are dead for real.
Three-time Trump voter: “All this man does is tell lies. He is not worthy of the presidency. He takes bribes blatantly, and now he's being a racist blatantly…I just want to apologize to everybody in the country for supporting this rotten, rotten man”pic.twitter.com/sSerWEDGb6

Yes, it’s music to my ears. And this is wonderful ad material for 2026. This should be blasting from speakers as we head towards November. The sad part is that half the country knew this was happening before it did. We predicted all this. And we were right.
And this is one of those scenarios where being right is not all that satisfying, in fact it’s depresssing. Let us think of Winston Churchill’s comment, “Americans will always do the right thing — after they’ve tried everything else.”

I love the image, Ursula. An old man, decrepit, pallid, sunken, with the vacant stare of someone whose mind has taken a sabbatical from the body. If it were anyone else I could feel pity, but with him it’s just an anticipation of better times ahead.
