It looks like Allen Weisselberg is in handcuffs in New York City. In all events, his demeanor is not that of a happy or confident man.

I don’t know if it’s protocol in these circumstances or not, but it does send a message.
Anybody want to guess how long it takes Trump to declare that Weisselberg was the coffee boy and he barely knew him?
A Manhattan grand jury has charged former President Trump’s family business and its chief financial officer with conspiracy, grand larceny, criminal tax fraud, and falsifying business records, according to indictments unsealed Thursday afternoon.
Allen Weisselberg was arraigned hours after he surrendered to authorities. He was escorted into the courtroom Thursday afternoon in handcuffs, and pleaded not guilty to all charges.
The charges center around the Trump Organization’s alleged efforts to evade taxes, including Weisselberg’s failure to pay taxes on valuable “fringe” benefits, like pricy apartments and school tuition.
“Weisselberg intends to plead not guilty and he will fight these charges in court,” his attorney, Mary Mulligan, told The Daily Beast in a statement.
In its own statement Thursday, the Trump Organization blasted the investigation, calling it a “scorched earth” effort to hurt Trump.
“Allen Weisselberg is a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who has worked at the Trump Organization for 48 years,” the statement said. “He is now being used by the Manhattan District Attorney as a pawn in a scorched earth attempt to harm the former President. The District Attorney is bringing a criminal prosecution involving employee benefits that neither the IRS nor any other District Attorney would ever think of bringing.”
“This is not justice; this is politics,” the statement added.
Justice will be when we see he who shall not be named in an orange jumpsuit being escorted in handcuffs and leg irons to his cell in a super-max prison, where he will have no contact with anyone ever again.
Please have the basic honesty to state that you wish for more than what you have stated but you’re willing to settle for the latter. This line from Steven Grant sums up my thoughts on this matter: “What’s even? All the money you stole, all the lives you ruined…your death doesn’t even begin to balance that.”
Who is issuing all these farcical statements of innocence of the guilty as sin Trump and his home office?

I think the welcoming committee would NOT use cuffs, without hard evidence to convince a judge that this man has done quite a bunch of criminal actions, amounting to open book charges … his bookwork, being so close to Trump and his grift, may show some of those discrepancies mentioned a year or two ago, “multiple books”, some legal even …
This man would as soon run and hide, even on that old rattle-trap jet of Trump’s, so they are taking no chances. I suppose his bail will be in the millions of dollars, pretty heavy lifting for Donald, who is way over his head in debt to Putin and others … this show will provide plenty of repeats of trump’s limited vocabulary. the two most used words EVER, [WITCH HUNT],.

Handcuffs are protocol. People have tried stuff before, for far smaller charges.
