There is a wealth of great material for attack ads in the Trump deposition video. I can’t wait to see what the talents of Lincoln Project and Meidas Touch are able to do with it. But there is a 1:07 clip which says it all. This encapsulates Trump’s snide, mocking manner towards the court, his misogyny, and then exposes his salient overriding feature, which is his sheer stupidity. The man is an idiot. Take a look.

If there’s any justice in the world, everybody will see this clip. This clip needs to go viral. Trump is contemptuous, he’s lying, he’s openly insulting Carroll’s attorney to her face and then he points out the plaintiff, the woman who is absolutely not his type, and says, “That’s Marla. That’s my wife.”

Trump raped E. Jean Carroll because she is spot on exactly his type. She’s a dead ringer for his second wife. Unless the jurors have all been lobotomized, I think that this one minute of evidence will convince them of what happened.

And I think it makes a great attack ad. Show America who this guy is at election time.

Trump is a buffoon who has no finesse with women or anything else. He buys who he can buy and he assaults, or rapes, women he believes he can get away with assaulting or raping. I’m willing to bet he’s never had a lover in his entire life which didn’t include some kind of material come on or payoff.

What a way to live. But Lady Karma has an interesting surprise for Trump. He’s turning 77 next month and his life is getting more complicated than the lives of any ten people you can name. All the karmic timelines are coming together. Everything Trump has ever done wrong — maybe not “everything” but some of the most horrific things — have a karmic price tag and all the bills are going to come due at once.

  1. Every Friday night after it’s ten p.m. drop I read ShowerCap. In his signature style he perfectly described Trump’s deposition as “watching an anal cyst leak.” I defy anyone to describe it better!

  2. Ursula, as any authentic person, capable of love and sacrifice knows, it’s not easy to find real intimacy with another person. Any man who has truly experienced it with a woman knows you can’t demand it. When it’s experienced during physical intimacy, a man learns the difference between sex, and sex as an expression of love. Sex without intimacy is akin to masturbation to satisfy a base hunger. Sex with a woman who loves you, and whom you love, is manna from heaven that reaches deep inside and bonds you in ways that can’t be explained. To experience it, a man must be vulnerable, open, and giving.Trump, being the selfish man he is, has never experienced it, and therefore women are just objects to him. That’s why he couldn’t even distinguish his own future wife from his rape victim. He’s not George Bailey. He’s the poorest man in town.

    • I believe his whole life is lived in the most shallow, superficial way possible. So, it fits that for him, intimacy is the same way.

      • You make a good point. He probably doesn’t even know there’s anything to sex beyond a quick physical release. I’m serious. That’s what I got out of Stormy Daniels’ description of their tryst. I don’t Trump knows what sensuality is, either, let alone intimacy.

        And his rejection of most women as not beautiful enough for him is very telling. He’s had sexual congress with a female body, but he’s never had real sex with a woman. Not in the sense of intimacy, like Scott Samuel Jackson is talking about in this thread.

        I’ll give you an example of this mentality. I was with some gay friends many years ago. One of the guys, early thirties, was going on and on about the looks of this lover and the looks of that lover. An older guy who was there with his husband of 25 years said, “We’re not together because we admire each other as being Adonis-like, because neither of us is. We’re together because we love and cherish the person that each of us is and we feel lucky as hell to have found one another. We connect at a level where we make love not just with our bodies but with our hearts, our minds. And that’s better than the hottest trick that you can turn tonight, my boy. I hope the day will come when you experience what I’m talking about.”

        I never forgot that conversation and it was a good 35-40 some years ago.

    • Well written, Scott! As a survivor of sexual assault at gunpoint (when I almost lost my life but was able to escape), rape isn’t about love or even sex; it’s an act of power and control. tRump may have “bought” his way into a few bedrooms, but in his own words, he clearly says he’s entitled to “take” sex because he’s a “star” (yeah, right!). What you describe as a beautiful union between a man and woman who clearly love and cherish each other—that sort of relationship would be impossible for a malignant narcissist like tRump to even aspire to. He could never be in an equal and trusting arrangement with any other human, and most especially NOT with a woman. Thanks for expressing how love looks to those blessed to experience it.

      • I’m sorry you had that experience, Meg. I had one boyfriend who started getting physically aggressive with me when I was breaking up the relationship. It was then that I really got the concept of how men view women as chattel. Sex as a power trip comes out of that same mentality.

    • This is one of the best comments I’ve read in quite a while and it mirrors what I was thinking today. Trump has only experienced sex on the most basic biological level. The rest of it, the intensity of the sexual connection when there’s an emotional and mental component, he knows nothing of. He may have “had” a lot of women, but he hasn’t had the fullness of the experience of sexual love, as the rest of us normal people have. I’m defining “normal” as the ability to fall in love, to risk, to feel something for another human being that elevates sex above an animal drive.

      As much as he demands physical perfection in women, he’s missing the boat. Animal attraction is fine. Nothing wrong with physical beauty. But physical attraction coupled with an emotional connection — wanting somebody, loving the whole person — is a horse of a different color. That’s what I hear you talking about. It’s what Shakespeare was talking about when he said, “Better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all.”

      The sublime irony is that Trump has “had” all these women, all the ones he’s paid for or simply “taken” but he has never experienced what sex really is, what it’s meant for, what it can be.

      The best things in life are free. You can’t buy them. You can experience them for free, if you’re lucky, but you can’t buy them. And you sure as hell can’t force them into existence.

      You’re absolutely right, Trump’s the poorest man in town. In terms of what life’s riches really are, he’s a pauper.

      • He wouldn’t want that level.of intimacy It would require vulnerability and honesty,and he is incapable of either. He has blasted that he never gives his wives expensive jewelry or art (he wouldn’t appreciate great art or even good art; the only “art” he likes are portraits of himself). He doesn’t even rent Melanoma flowers or a card,–and he could have his secretary make the arrangements.
        I suspect he thinks men who.actually love their wives or partners as suckers and who.give their wives gifts as parties and losers.

    • Scott is absolutely right about true intimacy. We had our 55th anniversary last September; and while some years ago it was taking all night to do what I once did all night, the tender moments we share during the day and lingering good-night kisses are what remain – BUT we have many great memories of mind-blowing pleasure that I consider near-religious experiences. God’s greatest gift to humanity is the capacity to enjoy sex, and for us, getting to the level of experience Scott describes didn’t seem like work…

  3. “And I think it makes a great attack ad. Show America who this guy is at election time.”

    Um, what really makes this any different from the man who we all saw back in 2016 bragging to Billy Bush that he could grab any woman by her “kitty cat” and get away with it? The guy STILL managed to get tens of millions of votes–even from women–after that video’s release. According to Edison Exit Polling on the 2016 election page at Wiki, Trump got 8% of the Democratic women’s vote, 89% of the GOP women’s vote and 43% of the independent women’s vote. Those groups made up 23, 16 and 14% of the total electorate* according to the poll making a respective 1.84, 14.24, and 6.02% of the whole vote–meaning roughly 22% of all American women still voted for Donald Trump even after they saw and heard his outrageous statement.

    The 2020 election page doesn’t have a “gender and party” breakdown but it does show that 42% of ALL women voted for Trump and that women comprised 52% of the total electorate meaning that women who voted for Trump STILL made up almost 22% of the total electorate.

    Maybe I’m too cynical but I don’t really think that women who were willing to vote for Trump in 2016 and again in 2020 are going to suddenly have a revelation and find his video deposition is that proverbial bridge too far for them.

    *Since the poll numbers are rounded to whole numbers, the total electorate by gender and party vote comes to 101%.

    • You’re assuming they’re going to see it. That’s only possible if they watch something besides Newsmax and Fox. You know those outlets aren’t running it.

  4. What I just can’t grasp is why anyone, ANYONE, would vote for him, let alone give him money. The trump phenomenon has completely wrecked my trust in the innate goodness and wisdom of people. Is he divine vengeance meant to destroy our society? It’s a cruel irony that such a vile, stupid, malevolent man has been able to misdirect the faith of so many, so easily.

    • The MAGAs I’ve met are:

      1. Not bright;
      2. Not educated;
      3. Not successful (and I’m talking about a lot of things, job, family, love life you name it);
      4. Mad at the world;
      5. Listening to Fox News.

      That’s who they are. They live in an insulted bubble and they think Trump will make things better.

  5. Plenty of people are in prison under “3 strikes and you are out” laws while this fat pile of sh1t walks around living off of our taxpayer funded “entitlements”.
    When is this two legged pile of sh1t going to be cut off from welfare and locked up?
    Why haven’t his corrupt “Federal judge” sisters cases been reviewed and the b1tch audited?

  6. Meg…there’s no words to convey my sorrow for you to have lived through that assault. I pray you continue to heal and honor your ability to survive the horror other people can bring into your life.

  7. Why any woman would vote republican ever is beyond me. His pathology is so audible in that he nearly rolls his “r” when he says rape as aggressively as the action itself because it’s what he’s accused of…and then he demurs (as if it’s possible)to say he “swooned “ her in order to achieve the “f” word,which he couldn’t say. Rape is ALWAYS about control.
    He’s hated women from the moment he realized he was repugnant to his own mother and his father then taught him you can take what you want if you have the means to do so. And men like him have been “dick”tating
    the majority since “con”ception. That being said I am so fortunate to have married one of my dearest friends after 26 since meeting in college. Fully vetted,the both of us 🙂
