This is incredible. We’ve had three mass shootings in less than two weeks, 22 people dead, one of them a nine year old boy who died in his mother’s arms, and this is Senator Graham’s response to all that? He’s talking about a “breakdown of law and order” and how you need to have an assault rifle to shoot the neighbors? Words fail me.
He forgets that Katrina was a natural disaster, where government failed at the top. Same for Hugo. IIRC, people were helping each other, not rioting in the flooded streets. Military-type weapons weren’t helpful then, either.
Words do not fail you, Ursula, but people the likes of Lindsey always do.
