Here it comes, here it comes, it’s just your nineteenth nervous breakdown. — Rolling Stones

Democracy is groaning and holding her head in her hands. Lady Liberty has gone out to get them both a drink. And Lady Justice has already fainted in the corner. The spinning wheels are going full bore over at Fox News as the faux narrative has a deceptive Nancy Pelosi causing the January 6 riot and then seeking to cover her tracks by throwing Jim Banks and Jim Jordan off the January 6 Select Committee. Right. She did it to cover her tracks and not because they were active participants in the insurrection and therefore could not be unbiased fact finders. Maybe the copy writers over at Fox should be honored by the Fantasy Writers Of America, because it’s sure they’re not going to win any Pulitzers for this tabloid trash.

And ludicrous as this may be, it is dangerous what’s going on, sitting members of Congress openly lying about something this important. We are in a situation now where we have not been since the Civil War, two warring tribes going for each others’ throats.

“Democrats fear nothing more than the truth.” Donald Trump on the other hand, welcomes the truth. That’s why he turned over all his records pertaining to January 6 so willingly, because he has nothing to hide. What’s that you say? He’s fighting the release of the records all the way up to the Supreme Court? Well, yeah, there’s that.

But fear not, Jordan and Banks will get to the bottom of all this.

Mark my words, I see where this is going. This is part of the Deep State false flag narrative. It starts out with blaming Speaker Pelosi for poor security, when that’s not her job, man.

Here’s the CNN Fact Check:

Republican Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio suggested Wednesday that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi had been responsible for the security presence at the US Capitol on January 6, after Pelosi rejected his appointment to serve on the select committee investigating the insurrection.

“Why wasn’t there a proper security presence at the Capitol that day,” Jordan asked at a news conference after House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy pulled all five members he had tapped for the committee in response to Pelosi rejecting two of them. The Ohio Republican added, “Only one person can answer that question. Only one. The Speaker of the United States House of Representatives.”

Facts First: The Speaker of the House is not in charge of Capitol security. That’s the responsibility of the Capitol Police Board, which oversees the US Capitol Police and approves requests for National Guard assistance. […]

Pelosi also cannot unduly influence who is appointed to the Board, which consists of the House and Senate Sergeants at Arms, the Architect of the Capitol and the Chief of the Capitol Police. The Sergeants at Arms are elected and must be confirmed by their respective chambers and the Architect must be confirmed by both chambers of Congress.

And according to testimony from the former Capitol Police chief, Pelosi was not involved in the decisions made ahead of January 6 regarding the National Guard. In his testimony before the Senate in February, former US Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund said that he approached both Sergeants at Arms on the House and Senate side on January 4 to request the National Guard through an Emergency Declaration from the Capitol Police Board.

This is going to get uglier still. Today is January 4. Trump gives his “press conference” on the 6th. He’s listening to “terrible advice” from his aides, says one of his former communication people. Insider:

“The former president has also announced he’ll be hosting a press conference that day which, I think if anything proves he’s still getting terrible advice from folks around him,” said Farah, during an interview with CNN’s Kaitlin Collins, per a report by the Independent.

“This would be a wise day for him to stay silent, to let those who were victims on Capitol Hill talk about that very important and solemn day,” Farah continued.

Trump is likely to use the press conference to push election fraud conspiracies, Farah added. “I think instead you’ll hear a very sort of, you know, the tone from him that this was — reiterating the lies that the election was stolen, saying that those who are being tried for the insurrection are political prisoners,” she said.

The former president will hold the press conference from his Mar-a-Lago resort on January 6 — one year after the deadly insurrection at the Capitol. In a statement announcing the event, The Hill reported that he baselessly described Election Day as the “insurrection” and inaccurately referred to January 6 as “a completely unarmed protest of the rigged election.”

NPR notes that Capitol rioters came armed, bringing stun guns, pepper spray, and baseball bats with them.

While Trump speaks from Mar-a-Lago, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has said that her office instead intends to hold a “prayerful vigil” among other reflective events.

Per usual, Pelosi will take an action which is responsible and respectful and Trump will create a zoo atmosphere where he rants and brays about how he’s been wrongfully used. You can set your clock by it, it’s that dependable. The laws of physics are not more dependable than the laws of how Pelosi will handle a matter properly and Trump will bastardize it to his own purposes.

  1. Gymbag’s one saving grace is his overwhelming stupidity. He’ll never figure out that he’s backing the wrong side until it’s too late for him to slime his way over to the winning side. As my salty ol’ Granny used to say: “He don’t know it yet, but he’s fucked bigtime.”
