We’ve seen Donald Trump struggle day after day with his cognitive abilities and much of this is ignored by the media. But should President Joe Biden have one brief “senior moment” and the media goes bazinga. Questions pop up like weeds about whether he’s “fit to serve” and yet Donald Trump speaks alphabet soup, and maybe there’s a question here or there, but let’s face it. This man speaks a word salad every day.

And he’s getting worse. Much worse.

Attorney Ron Filipkowski, who’s the editor-in-chief of MeidasTouch is perhaps Trump’s most ardent critic, and he’s been chronicling Trump’s verbal and physical problems for years. Last Saturday, Trump’s difficulties hit the 32 mark, as in 32 times where he forgot words, mixed up names, mispronounced them, got confused, or just spoke fuzzy, bombastic nonsense during campaign speeches, per The New Civil Rights Movement.

And Filipkowski caught all of this on video, compiling a short (less than three minutes) video that’s been viewed on X more than 1.4 million times.

“anybody that loves me, i like them’ — a reminder of how easy it is to play or manipulate trump and how, per his own words, he has zero principles or values and operates on a purely narcissistic, self-serving basis,” journalist mehdi hasan posted on x.

There is a level of hypocrisy in the media regarding Biden and Trump that I don’t fully understand. Trump makes befuddling gaffes daily, hourly even and maybe one or two media outlets cover this but when Biden makes one minor goof, media pundits speculate, scrutinize, publicize, and theorize as to what is wrong with him.

“and yet again the media will be primarily focused on biden’s age,” MSNBC political analyst Cornell Belcher noted. “as if biden simply being old with no credible ethics issues is somehow equivalent to trump’s clear cognitive problems along with 90+ criminal counts & an attempt to overthrow an election. Make it make sense.”

I wish I could make it make sense, but I can’t. Trump has no discernible charisma that I can see. Sure he’s a billionaire but he’s a mere piddler compared to Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos. And he’s hemorrhaging money due to the lawsuits he’s been dealing with. He wears weird makeup and pretends he doesn’t, has the most artificial-looking, fake yellow hair known to mankind, is bombastic, and is frequently mean-spirited, so don’t ask me. I don’t know why so many idiots follow him.

Joe Scarborough kicked this around on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, in a segment on Trump’s “public gaffes.”

“The guy just kept getting confused,” Scarborough told viewers.

“We see it more and more,” he said, adding this is “pathetic and sad.”

“he looks lost.”

Anyone ever see Biden looking “lost?” Generally, whenever Biden speaks he’s authoritative but not boastful, unlike Trump. He’s confident but not overbearing. Trump is overbearing even when he’s speaking a word salad. He keeps going no matter what he gets wrong because in that moment, he doesn’t understand he’s screwed something up. His mind rarely ever catches up with his mouth, so why anyone thinks this man should be president again is just crazy.

Actually, it’s really pathetic.

Here’s Morning Joe’s clip below.

  1. Confused about why? In a country founded on the genocide of the original inhabitants, built on the brutality of 4 million kidnapped inhabitants, with hypocritical documents proclaiming all MEN are created equal by slave owners barring the vote from even poor men, with laws manipulated by the rich to this very day, giving them mountains of gold while 95% of us scrape by day to day, and endorsing it with a healthy dose of lies and religious hypocrisy…geez where’s the confusion? The stockholders of the war machinery invent wars, send the working poor to die while they build yachts and vacation homes. They legalize death industries of tobbaco, etoh, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, oil and gas while throwing 700,000 poor into their private prisons YEARLY for smoking a plant, charging the poor devils for being there. They poison the politics to steal offices that benefit them. We are the only country that ELECTS the district attorneys who choose WHO gets charged and sent to jail. Still confused? Who owns the media? The same ultra rich. That exactly why we see what we see…to keep them in riches and us in bondage. Glad to clear it up for everyone. Now just don’t get shot going to the store for a beer, to church to pray, to school to learn, to the mall to shop, or for a minor traffic infraction. The rich have gates, walls and bodyguards. Do you?Oh, they own stock in the gun manufacturers by the way. Glad we had this little talk so now you know why this fascist is not only not in jail but will be the next nominee for an office he stole with the help of our enemies. America? Where the phuck is that? Sounds fictional to me.

    • Love Lennon’s “Working Class Hero.” I’m not the least confused about the wealthy having it all. But Trump remains popular among poor folk and I don’t understand all of this. I’ve been writing about this creep since 2015 but his magnetism among poor people bumfuzzles me.

  2. Given the celebrity worship, the erosion of public education, the rise of homeschooling to promote certain ideas and avoid others, and non-stop media propaganda, there are a lot of folks with misplaced grievances. Add in, he tells people what they want to hear, identifies brown and black folks as the ‘other’, tapping into their racism and their existential frustration because the American dream of getting rich was just an illusion. Our culture, promoting eternal youth, materialism and cultivating chronic unhappiness was ripe for a con man.

  3. Megan, dingleberry was NEVER fit be a dog-catcher. I’m not sure if he has ever been fit to do a damned thing except whine about how set upon he is and brag about things he did not do or did extremely poorly. The best part of Daddy Fred’s load ran down Mom’s legs.

  4. Palliative care provides symptom relief, comfort and support to people living with serious illnesses like heart disease, cancer or chronic respiratory disease

  5. True. However, Trump is a palliative for Trump supporters because he provides comfort to them for some reason. The man wouldn’t spit on them if they were on fire, but they don’t get this.
