I no longer have any doubt. Sometime in the next 12-18 months, one Donald John Trump is going to be convicted on criminal charges, quite possibly in 2 different venues, Fulton County, Georgia, as well as in federal court in Washington DC. And when he goes down, it will be for one simple reason.

To paraphrase the hip-hop song, It’s all about the ego, baby! We have known for years that Traitor Tot is not only a notorious micro-manager, who has to have his fingerprints on every decision, no matter how small, but also that his ego must be the largest, most overpowering one in the room. And it’s going to put him in an orange jumpsuit.

Because an overwhelming ego permeates everything. Even when you don’t want it to. But Trump’s massive arrogance led him to lead with his ego, and now that ego is showing up in almost every new document and testimonial transcript that’s being released. Trump is nothing if not hands on, and soon enough those hands will be wrapped in steel bracelets.

Let’s start in Georgia. Trump’s loss in Georgia burned his ass like a 3 foot candle, because it was the first loss of a GOP presidential candidate in something like 20+ years. And because Trump doesn’t trust anybody else to take care of sensitive business, he had to do it himself.

All I need is 11,780 votes, one more than we have right now. That’s all I need. After all, I won the state in a landslide Come on GUYS, all I need is 11,780 votes. GIVE me a break here!

is what Trump told Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. And it was a blatant, flagrant, egotistical demand that the Georgia SoS find a way to turn 11,780 votes from Biden to Trump. Which is a blatant attempt to suborn electoral fraud in the state.Trump convicted himself out of his own fat, stupid mouth.

But because he’s Trump he can leave no stone unturned. And so he dispatched his White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows down to Fulton County to observe the recount in progress, and throw out suggestions on how votes could be flipped. And he had his Senate lap poodle, Leningrad Lindsey Graham call Raffensperger personally, and bitch him out about the quality of the Georgia mail in voting procedures.

Here’s the McGuffin. Under federal court orders, both Graham and Meadows have had to testify in front of Fulton County DA Fani Willis’s grand jury. And you can bet your ass that one of the questions they were asked was whether or not President Trump urged them to make their contacts in Georgia? And the funny part is that it doesn’t matter whether they tried to plead the 5th, which would be nonsensical, it still puts Trump front and center.

Let’s swing back to Dizzy City for a moment, shall we? Former Meadows Chief of Staff, Cassidy Hutchinson testified before the J6 committee that her Trump appointed lawyer specifically told her to claim I can’t recall for any question that would make Trump or Meadows look bad. She also stated that on the day before her 2nd interview with the J6 committee, Meadows right hand man called her to tell her that Meadows knew about her testimony the next day, and he knew she was a good soldier, and that she wouldn’t roll on Meadows or The Boss.

It was Trump who took to the Ellipse on the morning of January 6th to whip his far right militant crowd into a frenzy, and turn them loose on the US Capitol, promising to go with them. And it was Trump who begged the Secret Service to bring down the magnetometers, and let heavily armed Oath Keepers and Proud Boys into the rally.

It has also been shown from the release of Trump’s Secret Service SUV driver on January 6th that Trump got hysterical and physical in his demands to be taken to the Capitol on January 6th, grabbing the wheel of the SUV, and even reaching for Secret Service lead Bobby Ingalls by the throat in his blind fury.

In evidence already released by the J6 committee, it is clear that within minutes of the Capitol breach, almost anybody with access, and a knowledge of the power structure in the White House started contacting one man, Donald Trump. Laura Ingraham, Ivanka Trump, Dipshit Donnie Jr., Sean Hannity, and even Kreepy Kevin McCarthy all attempted to contact Trump to plead with him to stop the violence. Because they knew that he was the originator, and the only one who could turn it off.

Starting to see the pattern here? Because no matter where you turn in any of the tragic events of January 6th, and the vote fraud attempts that led up to it,there is only one name that keeps coming up. Donald John Trump. And often from people who had intimate knowledge of the Trump White House power structure. To paraphrase Blade Trinity, It started with Trump, and it ended with Trump, and all of the rest of us were just along for the ride. And in his upcoming trials, it will be Trump that will be the focal point of almost every witness. Because he wants it that way.

  1. Yes, former guy is a criminal and his nonsense during his occupation of the oval office is merely the tip of the iceberg. He hasn’t yet been put where he belongs and he has belonged there for years before is presidency. I’ll believe he’s going to prison when he actually is in prison.

    • Then get ready for a nice surprise in 2023, accompanied by me yelling at folks like yourself “Toldja so!” Never confuse the court of public opinion with the actual legal system.

      • You’ll be yelling that and I’ll be happy for you and the rest of us by acting like a fool dancing around saying thank you merrick, Jack, Joe, Nancy and all those who brought him down!!!

      • I’m not convinced Trump will be indicted, let alone convicted. But, I still hope for the best. Nothing would make me happier. But there’s no chance in HELL he’s going to spend even an hour in jail, let alone ANY time in prison. Trump gets a secret service detail for life. Should Trump be convicted, not by any means a sure thing, but let’s be positive and hope he is convicted, Those secret service agents will be his jailers at smarmalago. He’ll be on house arrest and I don’t even think he’ll be outfitted w/ an ankle tracker. And his life won’t be any different than it is right now. And if anyone gets to tell me ‘I told you so’ I’ll be happy too.

        • Letting your Watergate memories get in the way of what’s right in front of you again, Blotus? Because here’s what you’re missing: Trump basically acted in such a careless, crass way that he put the system in danger. Institutions crush people like that, no matter how high up they go. Worse yet for him, he understands the art of covering things up as well as…well, pick a topic. Every prosecutor who will be stripping his life bare over the next year and a half should be writing him a thank you note for giving them enough charges to find ones that stick.

Your fears are based on past patterns that do not apply here. My conclusions are based on present day facts, behavior of the players involved and an understanding that too much of the MSM has been selling you a fiction that is meant to feed thought-killing speedballs of outrage and fear.

As I often do, I defer to Harlan Ellison: I may be as scared of bad outcomes as you “but that doesn’t mean my brains have turned to spinach.” Understanding this century is going to demand no less from all of us. It starts by skipping the easy answers.

  2. For his entire life Trump’s ego has been writing checks his ass can’t cash. He’s gotten away with it for so long, and on an increasingly frequent and massive scale he’s in a weird place. These middle of the night eruptions from him on his social media platform are the product of collisions of two streams of not matter (like in a supercollider) but thoughts – that he’s always gotten away with his shit, and that now/this time he’s actually going to be hauled up and held to account. Just like strange and sometimes spectacular particles are discovered when supercolliders smash electrons together at the speed of light, spectacular rantings come flying out of the vacuum in Trump’s head when the “I always get away with it” thoughts collide with the “WTF? They are actually going to make me pay for what I did?” thoughts.

    • It’s actually a very old story that’s been told a billion times before, powered by the Peter Principle. The only remarkable feature about this version is the scale. Otherwise, it’s like Percy Shelley: “Here lies the man who would conquer the world.”

  3. There’s another component here no one really talks about. In quite a few other countries–North Korea, Qatar, Phillipines, Putin’s Russia (seeing a pattern here?)–Trump COULD have gotten away with this. Rotten civic institutions, a public square that suppresses dissenting voices and a collective apathy from the populace due to lots of historical trauma…all that would have worked in his favor. Indeed, he deluded himself into thinking that’s EXACTLY what the US had become…as did, sadly, a lot of his opposition (brief aside: this country continues to have deep-rooted problems like any other but kindly confusing said problems with overall stability).

But fortunately for all of us, that was a total misreading of the situation, rooted in a perspective on this country that hasn’t been relevant since, let’s say, 1991. A smarter would-be dictator like a Liz Cheney would have adjusted accordingly. Trump couldn’t, insisted that reality match up to what he wanted. Now it’s about to sink him and LOTS of quislings who REALLY should have known better.

  4. In some ways stealing the presidency was the worst thing to happen to a malignant narcissist. Understand that condition is not a choice, it’s a personality disorder. It controls him not the other way around. Most psychiatrists wouldn’t touch him because there is NO fix. Gaining the most powerful job in the world was like throwing a crackhead into a warehouse full of crack cocaine. That’s why he broke norms, standards, laws, etc., it fed into his grandiosity and since he had REAL power, he abused it at every turn. He was incapable of adapting to the actual responsibilities of the job. He was raised by a racist, mob connected, greedy bastard, but one who left him 300 million dollars. He learned the trade from daddy, but his personality disorder kept getting him into trouble and he lost it all. Lucky for him his con was taken to a national audience with the Apprentice. Since Reagan gutted the public schools, and mass media took over the world, we suddenly had a country full of people who watched TV, their phone, and their computer to shape what they believed without putting in the effort to separate fact from fiction. History was lost. Critical thinking was lost. Civics was lost. Throw in fascist billionaires who hate democracy because their attitude is fuck the masses, and you have a perfect storm. They want to keep all their money and use the rest of us to make more. All these folks realized that the propaganda tactics perfected around the world by past and present dictators would work here. Unfortunately they were correct, and it’s unclear how we can stop them until the masses smarten up and our representatives live up to the ideals of our democracy. We do have moral people in key positions like president Biden, Merrick Garland and others. The question is are they prepared to follow through with what needs to happen since no one has had to deal with something like this. In our history, Lincoln was in the same quandary. He successfully got us through it but it cost him his life. Extreme times require extreme efforts. As for Trump, if he’d stayed in his lane in NYC, he probably could have continued with his criminal enterprise, but not when you are president. The spotlight follows you for the rest of your days. Trump is incapable of accepting any fate that is a result of HIS OWN BEHAVIOR. I imagine his flailing about will get worse and he will encourage his army of half wits to do THEIR worst. Don’t be surprised as the hounds close in. I’m afraid more destruction is on the way until we drive a stake through this bloodsucker and move on after the smoke clears. Malignant narcissism is a very destructive disorder. There is NO fix.

    • I have never understood the necessity of the top 1-3% feeling driven to.increase their fortunes. They have more money than anyone could spend in several lifetimes. Sure, a new Mercedes or Jag every year, not to.mention a Porsche or Ferraru, a couple of homes, East and West Coast,,an apt. in Manhattan. Jewelry. Handmade suits. But that doesn’t even make a dent.
Right now I would be thrilled to just have enough to.buy a 3bedroom.home in PA and a few pieces of furniture that aren’t from.IKEA,,and a new car every 5. years. I have some nice pieces of jewelry but most of the hideously overpriced stuff is gaudy. If I wanted more,,I would go to Thailand and buy it there.
$70grand would allow us a pretty decent lufestyle. What person needs 3+10billion?

      • Understand. I drive a 94 Nissan truck stick shift. No radio. No A/C. No electric anything. I tell my truck we’re a good match. We’re old, beat up, but dependable. Ha. Oh, and no car payments over the last dozen years.
