Remember when Seven-Up did its un-cola campaign? The idea was that if you were tired of the same old dark carbonated beverages, boy, did they have something light and clear and altogether different and better for you. It was a good ad campaign as those things go. Apply that to the idea of the American president. We have had men (so far it’s only been men) that have been self made, or born to wealth but with a social conscience, (Abraham Lincoln and John Kennedy) men who traveled the world or never left these shores (Thomas Jefferson, James Polk) men who were constitutional scholars or who spoke very simply. (Barack Obama and Harry Truman.) We have had an open racist (Andrew Jackson) and the first black president.

But we never had a reality TV show host and conman grifter in the Oval Office. That is new. And ironically, those weren’t the key factors that got Donald Trump his dead last rating, behind even James Buchanan, who used to rank last a lot, for basically doing nothing to prevent secession and the Civil War. Here’s the link to the Presidential Greatness White Paper which concluded the obvious, that Trump was the worst president in the history of this republic.

Biden ranks 14th due to these achievements, among others.

  • American Rescue Plan
  • The Inflation Reduction Act
  • CHIPS and Science Act
  • PACT Act
  • the reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act
  • the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act
  • the Postal Service Reform Act
  • the Respect for Marriage Act
  • Reforming the Electoral Count Act to prevent another Trump coup attempt

Biden may well go down in history as a great president. If we were living in a different era his reelection would be virtually assured. It’s only in doubt because life is as polarized and crazy as it is. And in all fairness, even before Trump, the Obama/Romney match was closer than it might have reasonably been, if based only on Obama’s track record, due to the polarization of this country. But what happened 12 years ago and what is happening now politically, is night and day. Now you have a situation where Romney himself has discredited the Republican nominee.

And what is Trump’s response to all this?

And variations of this appeared down thread. Trump loves this. Kristi Noem made him one of these and he absolutely adored it.

  1. Time to celebrate all the wonderful Presidents who have served our country & worked to make ours a more perfect union…. except #37 & definitely #45.

    • Unfortunately… some of these Presidents’ administrations have caught felony charges, but only one has personally been indicted with felony charges for their own criminal behaviors.

  2. The only place his picture is hung is on Satan’s wall of fame. Others include Stalin, Mao, Hitler and others who’ve murdered at least a half million innocent people.

  3. 1. OK, we’ll stop the political persecutions, right now, yesterday even. Because there are none! You are being prosecuted for crimes you committed. Suck it up, grifter.

    2. It took three years to get this far along because YOU kept delaying things, everything.

    3. They didn’t select the timing of this stage of the trials, you did with your delays, so: no election interference. BTW, that’s exactly WHAT you are on trial for: election interference.

    • There is a reason for that. DON THE CON’S IQ is only 73, which is literally only 3 points above the cut off mark for qualifying as mentally retarded.
