Seems that a decidedly mediocre portrait “Artist” named Julian Raven gifted his hero drumpf a ginormous 6’8” wide, 300 pound acrylic painting titled “Unafraid and Unashamed” of his hideousness…after his term in orifice had ended.
An unfortunate aide, stuck with disposing of the trash contacted the Government Services Administration in April of 2021 trying to get them to transport said POS to Mar-A-Lardo, or wherever, and was told by the agency that since it was drumpf’s personal property, given to him after his Residency had ended, that it was his problem.
Which of course made it her problem.
Good call, GSA, I wouldn’t touch the monstrosity either…
“A new report in the Washington Post about Donald Trump’s chaotic post-White House life reveals a dispute that broke out between a Trump aide and the Government Services Administration over a gigantic portrait of the former president.
According to documents obtained by the Post, Trump aide Desiree Thompson Sayle contacted the GSA in April of 2021 and asked for the agency’s help in moving what the post describes as an “enormous” portrait of Trump that was six-foot-eight-inches tall and that weighed a hefty 300 pounds.
“I’m sorry to ask,” an apologetic Sayle wrote to the GSA. “This is a weird one!”
But the portrait, which had been given to Trump after his presidency ended, was personal property, and the GSA said that it was thus not required to assist in its delivery to Mar-a-Lago.“
Poor Desiree ended up transporting the thing herself.

It’s hard to say who made the poorer choices here, the artist for painting it and calling it “Unafraid” which he most certainly is not just about now, “and Unashamed” which he would not be if he had a modicum of self-awareness – or poor Desiree who was probably stuck with the van rental.
In any case, like drumpf himself, I am glad the POS is gone from Washington, D.C.

I don’t get the three hundred pound part. Canvass stretched over a frame even that large, with a couple of supports due to the size wouldn’t come up to 300lb. Not even close. Even if painted on velvet like that cheesy Elvis (and other shit) you see on roadsides wouldn’t weigh anywhere near that much. Did the “artist” paint it on a sheet of three-quarter inch plywood? (Sheets come in 4′ X 8′ large enough for this particular p.o.s. painting) Even a single sheet of THAT wouldn’t weight three hundred fucking pounds and I should know. I’ve handled a LOT of sheets of plywood in my time. Not light but for an adult man not a huge strain to lift and carry around either. This makes no sense at all to me.
Maybe that was the crated weight.
Maybe they were talking about the nazi in the picture. Probably just lie number 40,000.
That ‘painting’ is a grotesquerie.
She should have checked with the DC city services first…..pretty sure they have some sort of bulk pickup service….she would have just needed to find someone to help her get it to the curb.
