There is no low they won’t go, and so this makes perfect sense. Ron DeSantis purportedly has eaten chocolate pudding with his fingers. Whether that happened or not, it is now part of the national conversation, thanks to a truly grotesque ad which is up on MAGA War Room.
Mercifully, the ad is short. But it is grotesque, insofar as it’s the nature of the grotesque that you cannot look away.
Be warned, you can’t un-see this. It will be interesting to see if DeSantis responds in kind, with a Trump character stuffing Big Macs, but frankly, I don’t think DeSantis has the spine for it.

The tastelessness factor of the 2024 election process has already crashed through the bottom for me, and it’s only April of 2023. Go figure. I wonder what the man who’s fighting both Donald Trump and Mickey Mouse will come up with to counter this? I am betting on crickets.
DeSantis is trying something truly magical right now, maybe he learned it at the Magic Kingdom. He’s attempting to defeat an opponent by not facing the opponent. Maybe he’s got a version of Sun Tzu somewhere that nobody else has seen. Or, maybe he’s just a coward, terrified of the MAGA base, which he so desperately needs. In all events, things are going to get even stranger, still. Trump is out for blood.

The camera pans to the empty toilet paper holder, a brown-smeared flush handle and brown smears on the bathroom door and door handle, the to Trump at his table with fast food in front of him, again with a smeared container and nasty looking hands) As all this plays out on the screen, the narrator says: “Donald Trump. So impulsive and vulgar. And lazy. Rather than put in a fresh roll of toilet paper himself he wipes his butt with his hands while raging at housekeeping staff. In his rage he doesn’t even wash his hands and sits down to eat his lunch of ham-berders. Leaving (bleep) smears all over his bathroom and his food. Just like he did to the White House and our country. Donald Trump. Hasn’t he smeared our country with enough of his (bleep?)”
Better yet, the Democrats should create multiple ads around all the defecation and urination the REPUBLICANS did in and on our Capital on January 6, 2021. They should ask the question, ‘what would you think if someone did this in your office or kitchen?’
Right, because Trump’s base would switch to DeSantis with that?
Most likely, Trump would simply call out DeSantis for posting “fake news” (probably hinting that the imagery had been sourced from some “liberal” media source) and proceed to shame DeSantis for being so stupid as to fall for such “obvious” fake news.
And, in all honesty, DeSantis would then be challenged by the media for having tolerated such behavior when he was such a diehard Trump supporter but only NOW attacking Trump for it. (I imagine DeSantis would then set a new land speed record for escaping the press.)
I really have a hard time seeing, Trump at his age, NOT being in a truly pathetic and serious GI tract frenzy … the odds are that he carries a load of trouble around with him at all times …
A diet of ANY fast food in a consistent and constant way is sure to amplify MANY ills he might be having … The vitamins and energy balance HAS to be stressed, of course, it seems like he uses a pill source that sometimes muddles his speech, his mind, on the other hand, has no focus at all …

I can see where the problem might arise but with all the gas stations, fast food and stores I don’t hardly see why you couldn’t find some sort of small shovel. Unless I’m missing something, that is.
