It would appear that this episode of the COVID Chronicles is going to get very strange and very fast. Donald Trump, who is admittedly taking medication that alters perception, just stated on Twitter that coronavirus was no biggy.
I will be leaving the great Walter Reed Medical Center today at 6:30 P.M. Feeling really good! Don’t be afraid of Covid. Don’t let it dominate your life. We have developed, under the Trump Administration, some really great drugs & knowledge. I feel better than I did 20 years ago!

It’s beyond irresponsible for the President of the United States to use his one experience with COVID-19 and extrapolate that to millions of people who are suffering. More than 200,000 Americans have already died. Many more are in peril and have every reason to take precautions.

The bottom line is that Trump is still infected and can infect others. This is as insane as his joy ride. Let’s see what the medical professionals say.
In the meantime, let’s take a poll:
- Trump is higher than a kite on steroids and who knows what else. He doesn’t know what he’s saying;
- He’s getting sicker, and the fear of that is pushing him into a denial/fantasy state;
- He doesn’t care that even the White House housekeepers are testing positive. If everybody dies, that’s fine with him as long as he gets to play big shot.
- All of the above.
I’m onboard with “All of the above”. This is a damned frightening situation. Hoping Don Jr. can get some of the rest of the family to do the intervention before things get even more out of hand then they are now.
What are the odds that’s gonna happen? This keeps going until he collapses and loses consciousness on a more extended basis. Given his narcissism, this is to be expected. Shame and humiliation are infinitely worse than losing his life.
There’s not going to be any “intervention.” If Ivanka thinks things are going south, she can probably calm Daddy down for a short while, but that’s about it.
Junior wants an intervention done, but Jarvanka are against it – it’s their chances to shine (or steal)!
The knives are probably being sharpened as we speak as to who gets their paws on the ‘inheritance’.
I doubt if any of them realise that the supposed inheritance is more likely to be a huge bill (or a visit from the debt collectors)
Ivanka is in charge so that won’t happen. I’m sure she’s the one putting all the photo ops together. Like father, like daughter. She’s just like him.

I vote for ALL of the above. Since traitortrump insisted on leaving the hospital, he should have been made to go HOME either to Florida or New Jersey NOT back to the White House which is a public residence, it is NOT his!!!. He is being treated as if he is above the law and is a king. I resent this very much because the lives of over 210,000 people were unnecessarily snuffed out by traitortrump’s totally irresponsible handling of the covid19 crisis from its inception. And the lies!!!… from him, his fake doctor (who is NOT an MD), and others in his orbit are causing danger for many people especially those who are part of his racist/fascist cult as well as to those of us who are not. HE was the super-spreader who infected many people. In his current demented state, he seems to want more “human sacrifices.” Traitortrump’s “presidency” lays bare all the holes in the Constitution, the 25th Amendment and other so called “norms” and regulations as regards The Presidency. His actions have shown and still show, that NOTHING can be left to “chance” or to a person’s common sense. Everything regulating the actions of the President going forward must be written into the law. For example, if traitortrump really has covid19, he should NEVER have been allowed to leave the hospital in a highly infectious state. If he still has covid19, he should be MADE to stay in the hospital by LAW or sent home to his PRIVATE residence. My point is, no longer can we trust anyone to use their personal judgement when they may cause others to die or become sick in a highly contagious health related crisis.
I’ll take #4. Maybe he’ll do what many chronically mental ill patients do: Get to feeling so good, he decides he doesn’t need those stinkin’ drugs and go off them. Of course, that usually ends badly, as this episode will. If only someone had control over this bozo, could say no to him and get him under control. It’s sheer insanity that we’ve let this out of control 4-year old take over our lives, our country.
I’ll take “all of the above”. They need to sedate him for the next week, so he can through the virus crisis stage. Or not.
