“Here it comes, here it comes, it’s just your nineteenth nervous breakdown.” — Rolling Stones

Donald Trump is not doing well. He went to New Hampshire briefly today, where he stood there and “sweated like a dog,” he said. Ummm…Donald? Dogs don’t perspire, they pant. It’s obvious Trump has never spent five minutes with a dog and for that we are grateful.

In all events, Trump returned to Bedminster on his jet and somewhere he got wind of a Fox News conspiracy theory and now he believes that he has just cause to have Jack Smith “withdraw” his indictment. Whut? Take a look.

This is what he’s talking about.

FIRST ON FOX: The House select committee that investigated the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021 failed to adequately preserve documents, data and video depositions – including communications it had with the Biden White House that are still missing – according to the Republican lawmaker overseeing the GOP investigation into the committee’s work.

The now-disbanded “J6” committee, which was run by Democrats and included only two GOP members, has also failed to provide any evidence that it looked into Capitol Hill security failures on the day of the riot, Rep. Barry Loudermilk, R-Ga., chairman of the Subcommittee on Oversight for the Committee on House Administration, told Fox News Digital.

Loudermilk said his staff has had difficulty gathering all the information it needs to investigate Rep. Bennie Thompson’s handling of the J6 investigation. […]

“Nothing was indexed. There was no table of contents index. Usually when you conduct this level of investigation, you use a database system and everything is digitized, indexed. We got nothing like that. We just got raw data,” he said. “So it took us a long time going through it and one thing I started realizing is we don’t have anything much at all from the Blue Team.”

Bennie Thompson denies this. He said that four terabytes of documents were turned over and the only documents that weren’t turned over were “temporary documents that didn’t advance the committee’s investigation,” which were probably things like cover sheets or transmittal letters, that kind of thing.

It’s finger pointing at an epic level, because this iteration of the House Republicans is hell bent on their own brand of witch hunt to counter balance all the horrific publicity which Trump is generating. Naturally, Trump falls for it.

Just another elevator on the Tower Of Babel which is Fox News, taking us further down down down the dark ladder of disinformation.

  1. As I recall, the J6 committee produced a voluminous report, several hundred pages, which they then turned over to the DOJ along w/supporting documents/video interviews etc. They also shipped all their info over to the National Archives, so that the rethugs couldn’t just erase their work. So if Loudermilk, who led a pre-Insurrection tour, can’t find the info he needs, it’s because it either doesn’t exist or he’s not looking in the right place.

    • Or he reads at a fourth grade level, which would be par for the course. I say this as someone who lived in GA for 12 miserable years. Bad schools. He somehow, managed to graduate from college.

  2. They probably can’t find the documents that showed Don John kneeling and begging the good people to go home and not attack the Capitol.

Now we all know that’s what he did (or so the Republiqanons believe) so them dirty Dems must have burnt that evidence

  3. At this point, Republicans are so incompetent and ham-handed it’s almost sad. We all know what comes next. They will announce the existence of yet another ‘whistleblower’, ready to come forward and blow this J6 investigation ‘cover-up’ wide open. As predictable as the sun coming up.
    😆😆😆

  4. Speaking for dogs (I’m pretty sure I’m spot on)–“we’re grateful you’ve never wanted one of us”.

“A subpoena (not talking about the congressional ability to subpoena BTW) is a request for the production of documents, or a request to appear in court or other legal proceeding. It is court-ordered command that essentially requires you to do something, such as testify or present information that may help support the facts that are at issue in a pending case.” The key term here is COURT-ORDERED. Did something happen overnight that I missed? When did former guy become a judge? Is this like his “knowledge” of nuclear physics which he obtained because he has an uncle? He is a judge because he has a sister?
