“Oh come all ye hopeless, backwards and ig-no-rant, oh come ye oh come ye to Per-ry, Georgia. Come take a selfie, with Trump the King of MAGAts,

Oh come let us fellate him, the liberals they berate him, but we know how to rate him, Trummm-ump’s Our God.” — religious hymn

The rally is underway in Georgia and it started out on this note.

And when they say audit, they’re not talking about Trump’s taxes, either.

I have no intention of hanging in with the Right Side Broadcasting Network, but a few of the stupider comments are worth sharing, just so you get the flavor of the evening.

Listen to the erudition of Herschel Walker, for openers.

Look on the bright side. Ron Johnson won’t be the stupidest man in the Senate if this guy gets elected.

Here’s Marjorie Taylor Greene leading the Two-Minute Hate. Thankfully she only goes on for 36 seconds.

The rest of her spiel was climate denial, and the Democrats are communists, nothing original.

Then Trump decided to stick the knife in Brian Kemp and twist it good.

This might be good for Abrams to use in a campaign ad. Poor Brian Kemp. He’s probably wondering whether he should drink hemlock or commit hari kari.

Here’s Trump’s first malapropism of the night.

No evening of Trump’s Greatest Hits would be complete without “Lock Her Up!”

Then Trump turns the big guns on the Republicans. Remember, friends: Trump is running on the anti-democratic, small “d” ticket. He’ll technically be on the GOP ticket, but he’s running for himself, his own party, his own kingship.

And the nuttiness doesn’t stop with the rally. Even the commercials are weird.

Here’s one of Trump’s “Sir” stories, so you know it’s a lie

Now here’s the part I’ve been waiting for: Trump lies through his teeth about the Arizona audit results. If they will believe a lie this big — and it looks like they’re eating it up with a  spoon — then there’s no hope for these people. And they can vote. Color me terrified.

Now he goes on with some drivel about how all 50 states should “decertify” whatever that is, and tells the crowd how Georgia is far worse than Arizona.

This is flat out lying. This is black and white. Either Trump is a goddamn liar, or every news outlet in the entire world that reported on the Arizona audit is. And if the MAGAs are willing to believe that Trump is right and the entire world is wrong, and  if there are enough of them, then I frankly am terrified. This is not only not normal, this is the preparation for a fascist coup.

If anybody wants to jump on here and tell me how I worry too much or give Trump too much power, both of which I have been told, somebody explain to me how this is not dangerous and anti-American as hell.

Trump is winding up his remarks and telling all his sycophants how wonderful they are, so I’ll go ahead and post this.

Trump took the Big Lie one step farther with his made up nonsense about the Arizona audit. I never thought I’d see Jim Jones or David Koresh take over the Republican party, but here we are.

  1. The one with the guy walking down the street – they just happened to have a mug of coffee waiting for him when he walked up?
The former guy is definitely not living in this universe. Neither are his devout minions. They probably shouldn’t be voting if they can’t tell reality from fantasy.

  2. Ursula, we’re all bloody worried, have been ever since the orange buffoon came down the gold-encrusted stairway with his whore to announce his candidacy. Our only hope lies now with the Biden administration and its Attorney General. If they don’t drag Trump and his thugs into court, the democracy is doomed.

  3. It is a curious contradiction that many people don’t worry enough because they believe ‘God’ will somehow step in & fix everything. That’s definitely not what the book of Genesis says. WE ate of the fruit of the tree of knowledge & chose our will over God’s. Our ‘freedom’ comes at a cost. Oh. I know many will bring up John’s book written in exile. I’ve had many wonderful & sometimes scary visions during my extensive journey into psychedelics. Should I write them down & call it inspired? No. We are alone here on a small planet orbiting a minor star. The only place each of us can count on going is the grave. Guess they’d rather not know reality, so they choose their collective waking dream. Nothing wrong with faith as long as one seeks the truth. Not their thing. Jesus called the devil “the father of all lies”. He also called the religious leaders “children of the devil” for standing with lies.(John 8:42-47). These folks should throw those bibles away. They blaspheme with every breath they take. Well, at least irony isn’t dead.
