Journalist’s prerogative. Before we get started, I want to get this particular kvetch off my back. I am getting so sick and tired listening to that Orange Sh*tgibbon whining on FUX News that he was the victim on an unfair accusation! That’s his new mental comfort food, I had to put up a $91 million bond because I was wrongfully accused!
No, NO, NO! you stupid, delusional MoFo! If you get nothing else right in your sick, delusional, hedonistic life, get this one thing straight! It could have been an unjust accusation when E Jean Carroll filed the lawsuit. And it could continue to be an unjust accusation all the way through the trial. But when a group of six random New Yorkers found you liable for defamation, then at that point it stopped being an unjust accusation, you stupid sh*t. Get it right! All you’re appealing for is to lower the settlement amount, not to clear your name, and you know it damn well.
Now on to the main event. I wrote in an article a day or so ago that one of the things that the Democrats really needed to do was to remind the voters of what a despicable sh*t Trump was, because people who don’t tune into politics regularly have done everything they can to scrape every scrap of Traitor Tot off of their poor, fevered brains.
I was talking specifically about His Lowness’s conduct as President. The sexism. Calling neo Nazi’s and Klansmen very fine people. The infamous Muslim ban. Child separation at the southern border. Disrespecting gold star families like the parents of Captain Khan, and the widow of Master Sargent LaDavid Johnson. Highlight the official presidential acts of blazing stupidity, racism, sexism, and self aggrandizement. They don’t need to say anything about the despicable personal habits of this modern version of Piltdown Man.
Because El Pendejo Presidente will take care of that all by his infantile little self. Y’all may not have really noticed, or realized, but for the last three years we’ve caught one helluva break. Because on January 20th, 2021, Traitor Tot became the thing he most despises and reviles. Irrelevant and inconsequential. Trump was no longer the President, and as such no longer commanded the bully pulpit. And while he almost immediately announced his 2024 candidacy in order to try to forestall his myriad of criminal investigations, running for President in 2024 even before the 2022 midterms take place doesn’t make you a candidate. And as a private citizen, the media was free to ignore the sh*t out of Trump all they liked.
Even when the race for the primaries on the GOP side heated up, The Cheeto Jesus was like the kid in class with cooties. On the rare occasions that The Trumpster Fire held a rally, the mainstream media would say the following, Former President Trump is holding a rally. We are monitoring the rally, and if he says anything newsworthy, we’ll turn it around and play it for you. Which almost never happened, since Trump almost never says anything worth hearing. Meanwhile Biden is carpet bombing the airwaves with his message.
But that’s about to change. Because in July, Traitor Tot will stop being the presumptive nominee of the GOP, and will become their presidential nominee for the 2024 election. And when that happens, then the media is going to have to start changing the way they treat Trump. Because he’s not just a big mouth blowhard anymore, he’s a presidential candidate.
Which means that the mainstream media is going to have to start treating His Lowness differently, by leveling the media airtime balance between Biden and Trump. And therein lies the Democrats secret weapon heading into the home stretch of the presidential election.
Which changes everything. Because for starters the media is going to have to cover Trump’s entire nomination acceptance speech live, just like they will the rest of the toxic spill site called the Republican National Convention. Y’all have had it soft for the last three years, almost Trump free. And if you think Trump’s acceptance speech is pathetic, just wait until you hear from the entire workbench of misfit toys that precede him for three days!
And when that’s over, then the media has to at least make an honest attempt to balance their coverage of Biden and Trump speeches. And that doesn’t even factor in that by that time Trump may already be a convicted felon, fuming, and either preparing for or already on trial in a federal criminal case. And then media is going to have to at least make an effort at equal coverage of their speeches.
You people have had it soft for the last three years. But starting in the 3rd week of July, you are going to start having way more Trump on your screen than you’re used to. Which is going to be a real culture shock, since the last time you remember hearing from Il Douche, he was at least modestly coherent, as opposed to the ranting two hour speech dotard you’re about to get. What better promoter for Biden could the Democrats hope for but this doddering, slobbering, incoherent buffoon. Suck it up, we’ll get through it together.

Makes me glad I ditched cable several years ago.
I don’t have to watch any of it and, if something interesting happens, I can watch it on YouTube. Luckily I subscribe to about 350 channels there. Add to that Prime and Netflix, I should be able to save a ton on brain bleach.
